If clothes make the man, you might say that hardware makes the kitchen. So it’s pretty sweet that Liberty Hardware is hooking one of you up with the chance to give your whole kitchen (or bathroom, for that matter) a major facelift thanks to $400 (yep, four-zero-zero) worth of knobs, pulls, switch plates, hooks, or anything else from their stylin’ catalog. So this could be your shot to make your kitchen more modern with sleek stainless steel pulls or to turn up the traditional vibe with some classic oil-rubbed bronze knobs (or something else entirely- they have lots to choose from).

    Give me Liberty! I love oil rubbed bronze, but most of our home is still sporting the brushed nickel that was popular when we built it seven years ago :-)

    GIVE ME LIBERTY! I tend to lean toward brushed nickel, but we have a 100 yr old craftsman bungalow, so I’m trying to be braver and embrace the oil rubbed bronze.

    Right now, I’m liking whatever finish by budget will allow, which is mostly chrome in the bathroom! Trying to pick something classic that I won’t look at in 15 years and question my sanity!

    “GIVE ME LIBERTY! I love boring to some but beautiful to me – oil rubbed bronze finshes! almost 2 years after the purchase of our first home I still use a butter knife to open some tall cabinet – all of which are knob-less :)

    We just redid our half bath with oil-rubbed bronze hardware and striped horizontal stripes (as in your old house!). The only finish we don’t have in our house is gold/brass. We’re more stainless steel (brushed and shiny) people.
