The biggest surprise I received from my grandfather. As a kid I loved real looking stuffed animals like cats and dogs. One year at college, on my birthday, my grandfather had the local florist deliver a live size golden retriever stuffed animal. It was so sweet because it brought back childhood memories and showed how much my grandfather remembered from when I was a kid. I put it in my bed and snuggled down with it every night – the next best thing to snuggling with a real dog.

But my favorite flower surprise story is actually the time that I sent my Momma flowers on my birthday to say thanks for giving me the life I was to celebrate that day.
