Gift me!! My husband and I are both in the Army and both in Afghanistan. We are not at the same camp, but at least it is a ‘local call’ for us to talk to each other every night. This year for my birthday he was due to be gone out in the hinterlands for a few weeks, out of communication range. Before he left he ordered several items from amazon.com to be delivered to me over several days. Mostly vintage scary movies, which I love (plus I have an October birthday). Finding a diamond band hidden inside a pepper grinder after my husband received STRICT INSTRUCTIONS not to give me domestic gifts for Christmas.
