Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    Pantone me!!!

    I’ve been pretty obsessed with this weird reddish pinkish orangeish color that I’m seeing in the store I manage (maurices). It’s awesome. I wish I could describe it better, but alas, there is a reason I do not work for Pantone. Haha

    PANTONE ME!

    I think corals are the wave of the future! I used coral in my daughter’s nursery. I was decorating it last year and had the hardest time finding anything in coral. Now it’s everywhere! I’ve even had friends calling me to tell me where they’ve seen coral decor.

    Pantone me! Hmmm…I think my color of the year would be yellow because I just died my hair back to blonde after spending a couple years as a very dark brunette.

    PANTONE ME!!

    I am all about Emerald (holla to every sweater I bought in the 90s being stylish again!), but when it comes to wall paint I am completely deep-color averse. Maybe winning this would help me take a step in the right direction?

    Pantone me!

    Ugh! If only i could settle on one color!!! I am currently trying to paint my bedroom…. There are 10 count them 10 different colored squares all over my walls ranging from plums, blues rich to pale, greys dark to light as well…. I repeat… UGH!

    PANTONE ME! Apparently I love bright bright pink right now, or so my recent purchases tell me, but if I was consciously choosing a color I think I’d go for a super dark (not reddish at all) plum purple.

    On the grey train these days. Decided to embrace the grey-tiled box of a bathroom we inherited kinda like Lesley did with her “Skokie Pink” bathroom!

    Pantone Me! I am all about gray this year. I love the neutral that gray brings, but it still goes with all kids of accent colors. I think my whole house would be gray if my husband would allow it.

    Pantone me. I have been really craving white walls lately, and then color on textiles: rugs, curtains, etc. I do have a room or two that need color on the walls, though, and I’m thinking about gray…
