Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    I don’t know if it’s that semester abroad in Italy 10 years ago or what, but I keep wanting to call it “panettone”.

    I’m waiting to paint my miscellaneous projects either turqoise or aubergine lately.

    I would have to say pink or coral.. We are expecting our second girl and with a new house purchase in the works, we have a girls room to get ready!

    PANTONE ME!I love greens and blues and love to play on those tones with a pop of coral. I want to paint my front door an orangey coral but everything I have tested looks to pink. I’m sure I could find the right color from Pantone!

    Pantone me !!

    The color of my year is Neutral Grey with pops of Teal/Aqua and Yellow !

    I have always been a Tan/White/Neutral person, but have decided to jump off the color cliff ! Taking the plunge and being all risque…. :)

    PANTONE ME! Nope, sorry – not in lockstep with the Emerald green this year. But, if they were to pick a robin’s egg blue (think Benjamin Moore’s ‘bird egg’ shade) then I would be ecstatic.

    Pantone me!
    I am feeling the emerald but then I love all shades of teal, green, peacock, etc. but given that it is spring, I am currently being drawn to all things yellow – sunny, buttery yellow!

    Pantone me!! I’m loving the emerald this year, I always gravitate towards the blues, lately am loving coral, and gray/yellow combo.
