Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    I love blues and greens! We’re moving soon, so now I have the difficult job of redecorating and deciding what to paint. I used to have a lot of brown and red, but the red needs some friends!

    I am obessed with all things aqua and coral no matter where on the scale they reside. It’s a problem but one that I welcome!

    I totally agree with Emerald being the color of the year. I got married 2 years ago and have an emerald as my wedding ring. It’s so unique I love it! I get asked about it all the time, and people love that it’s something ‘different’ almost as much as I do

    It’s a toss up between teal and purple! I’m a bit biased since they’re my favorite colors, but they’ll both be making their way into my nursery this year.

    PANTONE ME!

    My color of the past couple of years is teal blue, something close to the color you painted the backs of your built-ins in the dining room. I’m quite enamored of it still.

    PANTONE ME!!

    I am currently still behind the curve and I love that deep blue that was really popular a few seasons ago (or so say the super fab ladies where I work). It is so beautiful and can be used is so many more ways that just your average nautical. :)

    Pantone Me!

    I’d either pick 19-3935 Deep Cobalt or 15-1435 Desert Flower! A deep neutral blue or a fun (almost neon) coral! I’m also getting into a light yellow, more on that later…

    “PANTONE ME” Teal is my color of the year. It’s the color of the first room in our new house that I painted, and I’m working the rest of the house around that.

    PANTONE ME!
    My co,or of the year is definitely blue. Almost any blue, ranging from cornflower to aqua to deep navy. I have put it I. Nearly every room in my house, and I’m about to paint my lower cabinets teal blue! Eek!

    Pantone Me! It is a good thing that the winner gets 8 because I have so many favorites… yellow, greens (all shades) and blues. If I win, it will be hard to narrow it down.

    PANTONE ME!

    I have been on a Navy kick lately… Navy walls, Navy chairs, a Navy chesterfield tufted loveseat… you name it, I love it in Navy.
