Y’all have heard of a little thing called Pantone, right? Well the folks who declared Emerald the color of the year have a slew of color experts who have also inspired a line of paint. And our bloggy friend/decorative painter Kristen clued us into MyColor inspired by Pantone – which is a series of project-sized paints for furniture, accessories, walls and beyond. In addition to the cool clear packaging, these quarts of eggshell paint (which are sold online and at Lowe’s) are ultra low VOC, stain blocking, and self priming. And one of you is gonna get EIGHT quarts in any of their 49 paint colors!

    PANTONE ME! I’m a designer so I get giddy about EVERYTHING Pantone. I think my color of the year pick would have to be teal (like Ocean Depths in the image above). Just judging on everyone else’s comments, that seems about right :)

    I would definitely have to say teal…convenient since we just moved and all the home goods stores seem to be way into that color as well!

    I am really liking all the various greys out there right now. But I have always been a huge fan of green (it is my favorite color after all!)

    I’d have to go with Cincinnatian Hotel Abbey – it’s a shade of blue. We’ve used it to paint a lot of stuff this year.

    My color this year would definitely have to be yellow. And navy. Maybe a combo of both…Yellvy? Navllow?

    I’m loving gray this year – it’s one of my wedding colors and I can’t stop buying gray clothes either. The Cloudburst paint looks so cozy and perfect!

    My color of the year is bright pink, but it actually should be four colors: gray, navy, bright pink, and bright green. My wedding colors!

    I actually loved emerald last year, this year I’m really into peacock blue. Have definitely been doing lots with it in my house and my wardrobe! PANTONE ME! (please) ;)

    Pantone Me! My color would be Pistachio! I hope I spelled it right ;) we have so many painting projects going on right now, I’d love a few quarts of paint to help us get going.
