Fab Freebie: Gettin’ Jiggy With It

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

If you read this morning’s post about DIYing some wood shelves for the nursery, then it should come as no surprise that this week’s giveaway is from Kreg Tools. They’re giving one of you the chance to take home their Kreg Jig, so – no matter your skill level – you can feel like real woodworker.

Kreg Jig Materials

After all, I hardly consider myself to be a master craftsman, but after my latest shelf-building adventure I’m itching to tackle more wood-related projects. They really can be addicting…

Shelves Close

In addition to the Jig itself, this week’s winner will also be snagging a 675-piece Screw Kit, a Face Clamp and a set of project plans to get you started. So with all that at your disposal, I promise not to be jealous if you build something more complex than me. Here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: A Kreg Jig, Screw Kit, Face Clamp and set of project plans.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your dream wood-related project. Is there something you’ve always wished you could build? Or a renovation that you dream of tackling with your own two hands?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 7th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: All 50 of the United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

“I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY” I really would LOVE to build many things – but my top two include a King sized bed/headboard for our master bedroom. We’ve been married 5 1/2 yrs and have never had bedroom furniture. I would also love to build a playhouse, complete with window boxes, a front porch and loft area for my kids.

I am just counting down the days [or years] until I have a house of my own [I live with the parents, hey it is free] now and there is not too much to do.

But, this spring, I am building a raised vegetable garden! These tools could come in handy for that?

PS. I adore the beanette’s nursery! It is beautiful!

I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY There are actually two projects that come to mind, first as spring has sprung, I really want to build some planter boxes to plant the seedlings my husband and I started 2 weeks ago. The second project is to build custom shelving for my closets. I am also interested in trying to find a good spot for those shelves you two made. They are super cute!

Finishing off kitchen cabinets and doors all done with KREG (before there was a beaded inset frame kit!!). Looking forward to building garden benches with planters, an outdoor shed and deck, and planter boxes for the fence. My dream project is being realized in my kitchen renovation.
