Fab Freebie: Gettin’ Jiggy With It

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

If you read this morning’s post about DIYing some wood shelves for the nursery, then it should come as no surprise that this week’s giveaway is from Kreg Tools. They’re giving one of you the chance to take home their Kreg Jig, so – no matter your skill level – you can feel like real woodworker.

Kreg Jig Materials

After all, I hardly consider myself to be a master craftsman, but after my latest shelf-building adventure I’m itching to tackle more wood-related projects. They really can be addicting…

Shelves Close

In addition to the Jig itself, this week’s winner will also be snagging a 675-piece Screw Kit, a Face Clamp and a set of project plans to get you started. So with all that at your disposal, I promise not to be jealous if you build something more complex than me. Here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: A Kreg Jig, Screw Kit, Face Clamp and set of project plans.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your dream wood-related project. Is there something you’ve always wished you could build? Or a renovation that you dream of tackling with your own two hands?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 7th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: All 50 of the United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

I realllly want this, im pretty sure I saw an infomercial for it one night at 2am and woke my boyfriend up to show him how easy it was to make a table with the kreg jig. I would use this to make some of the furniture on “knock off wood” a wonderful website that I was introduced to thanks to you guys :)
I hope the random number generator likes mee!

    I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY!

I think my next big dream project is a set of built-in library shelves for my office. I’m thinking about a three-section unit, with built-in lights, storage drawers at the bottom, a dark mahogany stain, and crown moulding trim at the top.

Wow. I’m intimidated just by putting it into writing. :)

I’d love to make shelves like yours for my daughter’s nursery. I’d also love to replace all the baseboards in the house and add crown moulding. Looks like it’d be easy, but I know it’ll be hard!

Actually have a small book display shelf on my build something myself before I turn 30 list- only 10 months to do it. (I love your shelves better then the ones I was considering duplicating from pbkids).
Dream projects would include a window seat/toy storage w/book shelves (built ins) for our little guys room. Sure I could list a few more- but need to learn the basics first.

(Oh- and thanks for the great giveaway!)
