Fab Freebie: Gettin’ Jiggy With It

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

If you read this morning’s post about DIYing some wood shelves for the nursery, then it should come as no surprise that this week’s giveaway is from Kreg Tools. They’re giving one of you the chance to take home their Kreg Jig, so – no matter your skill level – you can feel like real woodworker.

Kreg Jig Materials

After all, I hardly consider myself to be a master craftsman, but after my latest shelf-building adventure I’m itching to tackle more wood-related projects. They really can be addicting…

Shelves Close

In addition to the Jig itself, this week’s winner will also be snagging a 675-piece Screw Kit, a Face Clamp and a set of project plans to get you started. So with all that at your disposal, I promise not to be jealous if you build something more complex than me. Here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: A Kreg Jig, Screw Kit, Face Clamp and set of project plans.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your dream wood-related project. Is there something you’ve always wished you could build? Or a renovation that you dream of tackling with your own two hands?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 7th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: All 50 of the United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

I’m getting jiggy” and I love jigs. Have used my neighbor’s Kreg Jig but he won’t let me keep it. Have always wanted to build a TV Stand in the corner complete with space for the VCR and some tapes but it looks a little daunting to build. Bet if I had my own Kreg Jig and my neighbor’s help the work would go easier.

By the way your shelves look fantastic and I like the fact that the screw holes are hidden.

I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY with Kreg tools. Just finished Theatre Season with the high school; built most everything with Kreg Joints. Flats ,furniture, and signs all stronger and lighter with this excellent system. Now I have set my sights on the Family Room Media Cabinet. Kreg will be the trick that makes me look like a Pro.

This year for Christmas I plan on making the gifts I am giving to family. I have several projects already planned, some involve sewing, building, scrapbooking and repurposing into useful one of a kind gifts that I hope will be appreciated. Some of my building projects include a gardening/tool table and giftwrapping organizer. Thank you.

The stair railing along with the attached banister in our home was rebuilt by previous owners. The only issue is, it doesn’t match the other original banister on the other side of the landing! The railing and funky banister are DEFINITELY in need of a redo & this jig would certainly go a long way to help us.
