Fab Freebie: Gettin’ Jiggy With It

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

If you read this morning’s post about DIYing some wood shelves for the nursery, then it should come as no surprise that this week’s giveaway is from Kreg Tools. They’re giving one of you the chance to take home their Kreg Jig, so – no matter your skill level – you can feel like real woodworker.

Kreg Jig Materials

After all, I hardly consider myself to be a master craftsman, but after my latest shelf-building adventure I’m itching to tackle more wood-related projects. They really can be addicting…

Shelves Close

In addition to the Jig itself, this week’s winner will also be snagging a 675-piece Screw Kit, a Face Clamp and a set of project plans to get you started. So with all that at your disposal, I promise not to be jealous if you build something more complex than me. Here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: A Kreg Jig, Screw Kit, Face Clamp and set of project plans.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your dream wood-related project. Is there something you’ve always wished you could build? Or a renovation that you dream of tackling with your own two hands?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 7th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: All 50 of the United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

My dream wood carving project would be a set of chaise lounge chairs for our back deck. However, I’ve never built anything except a stool in 8th grade shop class, so I’m a little nervous about getting started!

    Thanks!

Oh, where do I begin? Headboard, bench, (idea’s from the Knock of Wood website) your shelves for my sons’ room to display all the bobbling heads he has, and shelves for my daughters room to display all her girly things…the list could go on and on!!

    I’M GETTIN’ JIGGY!

We have an open space in one corner of our basement and I think it’d be a blast to build a bar to fill in that corner. It’d be great for entertaining and to be able to say it was built with my own two hands (and fingers crossed – the help of the mighty Kreg tools) would be a great conversation starter!

I DREAM over the idea of building my own walk-in closets. My father once built walk-ins for my step-mother, and I always have fond memories of helping him out with the work. This project will take a ton of tools, but this prize will help!

There are so many projects on Knock Off Wood that I want to try, but alas, no tools. I’d really like to make one of the beds (probably either the Farmhouse or Reclaimed Wood) for our guest room. I have plans to take a trip to my parents’ house this summer, just so I can use my dad’s tools, but this giveaway would definitely help me start to build my own arsenal! Thanks for the opportunity!
