Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME!! My fiancé and I purchased our first home together back in December and even before moving in we knew this house had potential! The upstairs bath is outdated, with an awkward configuration and poor use of space. We’re excited because it really is bright, good sized room that has us dreaming of spa like retreat. However we know that rearranging the layout and overhauling the bath from floor to ceiling will be a major expense!! This incredible giveaway will offer us an opportunity to get a head start with some beautiful fixtures and save us on those luxurious finishing touches! Thanks again for this chance to win, would just love these Moen pieces for our future suite!

    love from,
    Laura

    Fix me please!

For the last two years our master bathroom has served as my kitchen! I’ve been using an electric cooktop, a toaster oven, and washing all my dishes by hand in our bathroom sinks! After two years of dropping things on the flour (and thus tons of ant problems) I can’t wait to retile and grout everything.

Where to start? Fluorescent lighting that only illuminates 1/3 of the bathroom, a short vanity with zero storage, a cracked mirror, and the biggest problem is a tiny toilet that belongs in an elementary school. This give away would be well used!

FIX ME! Oh my goodness, our entire “master bath” needs help! Problem is it’s barely big enough for 1 person to stand in. The only storage cabinet can’t even open all the way because it hits the toilet. I didn’t know it was possible to make a bathroom so small!

Our bathroom is still living in 1982…equipped with a peach seashell-shaped sink and crystal ball handle. If you didn’t feel sick when you went in there, just give it a few minutes…. cannot even get started on the wallpaper. Just. Plain. Awful.

I just bought my first house. The bathrooms make me cringe. All of the shower tile is stained orange with runs and the fixtures are silver and brass. The style makes the brass look like the flame detail you’d see on a car.

I’d love to win the new fixtures to fix up my first house!

FIX ME! Although I can’t wait to update our bathroom fixtures, I’m really just dying to get rid of the rose wallpaper border, not only because it’s granny-like, but also because we have high ceilings and it was hung two feet below the ceiling line…like a granny rose racing stripe! I promise to tackle the walls if I get new fixtures. :)

FIX ME! My bathroom mirror’s backing is coming apart and the glue is showing up on the surface. My faucet for the shower doesn’t rotate down anymore, so I can only take showers and not baths. There is also no drain cover, just a hole in the tub. The toilet paper dispenser is no longer even there, and the towel rack is coming out of the wall. My bathroom is in such disrepair, I’m ashamed to let anyone use it.
