Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    Fix me!! (please!!)

We are in the process of buying a house from the 1960’s which has two (very, very) outdated bathrooms. We will soon be needing all the fixtures and accessories mentioned above. This would be an awesome help!

    Thanks for the giveaway! :D

FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! My kids like to use the shower as a sort of bath, by plugging the drain and filling up the shower. But it’s not a bath tub. And they overflowed it one time, resulting in my husband having to cut away part of the linoleum in there and the CARPET, yes, carpet. The former owners of this house carpeted the bathroom.

    Please FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fix me please!!! How can I pick just one terrible feature of our bathroom?! My mother-in-law did ask for a wrench to turn on the shower during her last visit, so I think the shower handle just got moved to the top of the list!

    FIX ME!

Our bathroom is from the 50’s. Its not the cool-retro-kind of bathroom. It’s just plain awful. The hardwood (yes hardwood) has some areas where moisture has got the best of it. The sink is archaic. And the tub…oh the tub…its a beige color that clashes with the white trim of the bathroom. There is no bathroom fan…so I have to keep the de-humidifier in the bathroom and empty it out every couple of days. At first glance, the bathroom is charming…but…after living with it for 3 years…its ready for an overhaul. I’m in love with the 90 degree fixtures. Hope to win!

    FIX ME!!

We’re looking at original builder’s grade stuff from around 1980 in both bathrooms, and they’re hideous. Due to a toilet malfunction i’ve had to do a minor remodel to the master bath, but with a brand new baby having just come into our lives, we decided to reuse the original faucets, etc when the bathroom gets reassembled. i’d love to be able the surprise the mrs. with something new and fancy.

Bonus – i’ve redone the floors, and we just bought a new vanity base, but the original tiles in the shower are still there. now that the sub-floor, flooring, toilet and vanity are upgraded, the avacado green tiles really, really need to go!

FIX ME! me oh my this is so timely…on august 11th we purchased a 1970’s ranch house fixer upper…with original baby blue carpet, 3 types of linoleum, and gold fixtures its a true dream boat! we have ripped out all the flooring, knocked out a wall, raised the floor up in the living room to make it all one level, tore out a light fixture and cabinet set that were attached to the rafters (oops, add sheet rock the ceiling to the list), had a asbestos scare and painted the house in the last week or so…whew. this weekend we are tackling the bathrooms. to say that winning this giveaway would be a blessing is an understatement.
