Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME!! The worst part about our bathroom is that part of it is carpeted. Gross! The rest of it isn’t horrible, just badly outdated. New fixtures would be awesome!

FIX ME! Both of our bathrooms need major facelifts…from the laminate floors, to the “beautiful” almond fixtures, to the cracked and worn counters. Gotta love late 80s/early 90s decor!

We’re in the middle of a little bathroom reno ourselves, so this is the perfect giveaway for us! I’m not sure what needs more fixing – the 70s pink swan tiling or the crumbling wallpaper to match!

    Fix me!

Where to start… Mixed matched fixtures (silver, gold, and black – i know, terrible), plaid wallpaper on the walls, broken toilet seat, cracked tiles, stained (with who-knows-what) vanity and sink, and messed up plumbing. This would be a great pick-me-up for ourpoor old bathroom! (And a great motivator toactually start fixing things.)

Our entire bathroom needs updating! It’s the only bathroom in our house and it desperately needs some TLC. Shower/tub combo isn’t pretty, toilet flushes itself, and don’t get me started on our vanity!

FIX ME!!! EVERYTHING in my bathroom needs to be fixed/replaced (except the toilet, we recently put in the same one that you recently put in)! it is a very tight space with a too large vanity (you have to turn sideways in order to get past the tub and vanity in order to get to the toilet). the shower/tub surround is some kind of laminate material that is popping off the wall, so any time you touch the wall, it breaks away from the caulk around the tub, letting water in behind it. before they moved in, they repainted the whole bathroom a creamy tan color, but they didn’t do any prep work or else used the wrong type of paint, because everything is cracking and chipping or bubbling up due to the moisture. we also need a new exhaust fan because ours doesn’t seem to do anything except make a lot of noise! the sad thing is that we only have one bathroom, so it’s going to be difficult to redo it while living here.

    FIX ME!!!

We are currently waiting to save enough to completely redo our Master bath! I began pulling down wallpaper thinking it would be a simple fix to at least repaint and instead revealed layers of more wallpaper and damaged dry wall. Sigh… In addition we only have hot water running through the faucet due to the dripping faucet being so bad on the cold water side. boo!

Fix me! Oh my goodness, EVERYTHING in our bath needs to be updated. Someone in our house’s history decided that an underwater theme was appropriate for a master bath – even going so far as including a wallpaper border with fish and coral. It’s as bad as it sounds. Also, we have two showers in our bath – one stall and one in the tub. Why? I have no idea! I can’t wait to update it!

FIX ME!!!! The worst part of our bathroom (and it is quite the contest) would be the target bags duct taped to the unfinished drywall in the shower – the weekend we moved in to our house the shower faucet snapped off into the wall and our warranty fixed it but didn’t replace the tiles – that is up to us!

The people who installed my shower surround decided to hold it up with nails…. Nails that, over three years, have rusted. Yes, I have a rusty shower. Also, drawers that don’t open, a tub that needs to be refinished, damaged drywall and more. I’m planning to give the bathroom a total facelift this winter and have already been stockpiling a few pieces (a dresser that will be converted into a vanity, drawer pulls and shower head). This would be a HUGE help in my low-budget makeover.
