Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

My bathroom was laid out wrong. The builder used the cheapest materials available and you can tell. They didn’t even take the time to put the medicine cabinet recessed into the wall. This would be Amazing!!!

We have two identical bathrooms – one we are in the process of gutting, one that still has chipped AND cracked tiles, a terrible builder vanity and absolutely no light. We’d love to have new everything to make the place sparkle! (Or at least liveable!)

Where to begin. My bathroom sink doesn’t turn on. The other bath spout lets half the water out in the tub when you turn on the shower. Oh, and everything is in an almond color.

Our bathrooms are all a disaster – they have these tub/shower combos that have ceilings on them about 6 1/2 feet tall. No light gets in, and one of them is avocado green. They all desperately need to be replaced – but replacing the fixtures would be a great start!

I plan on restaining the light oak cabinets a deep espresso color this winter. With that, I’ll need new hardware (right?!) at least that’s how I justify it to the hubs. That might look better with the beige tile walls, beige tile floor beige tile etc… I call it the Khaki abyss.

FIX ME! My bathroom is straight from the 50’s; pink and turquoise tile, with a nice brown frame to it. The medicine cabinet is rigged to open, but to not fall apart and the sink is shaped like a sea shell. The shower head has been attached to a thick wooden square that was nailed to the wall and the plug to the tub doesn’t work =(

Our fixtures are one of a few things that drive me nuts in our developer-designed-with-leftover-bulk-supplies bathroom. They’re too short and we didn’t notice that during our inspection or final walk through. They’ve flood the UNSEALED(!!!) counters so much, that we’re going to have to replace the granite counters in both bathrooms, even though they’re only three years old. Booooo!
