Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix me! Our bathroom is stuck in the early 80’s! Country blue tile (2 inch tiles, floor to ceiling AND used for the door trim,) old fixtures that have definitely seen better days and linoleum that doesn’t match the tile. Why put in tile and not splurge to have your floor match??? We’re saving up to gut the whole thing–stunning fixtures would be a cake topper!

My wife wants to redecorate the master bath for her birthday (tomorrow!) and this would certainly help. At the top of my list are the brushed brass fixtures (that the builder assured me were brushed nickel even though they didn’t match anything else in the bathroom).

Both of our bathrooms are pretty awful, but the original 1967 shell shaped yellowing integrated sink/counter in the main bathroom is probably the worst offender. It also doesn’t have a shower fixture, just a tub spout and would love a shower in there.

Ughh, our master bathroom is a mess but the worst part is probably the tile. Cracked in a place or two and with some crumbly grout it is not the most pleasant thing to look at.

    FIX ME! (plleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeasee!)

our only master bathroom is a disgrace. it’s the original mint green/black ceramic tile with white grout. there’s so much mildew it’s gross (and totally not removable, I’ve tried everything on this planet!). The previous owners didn’t measure the floor correctly so there’s huge gaps where it meets the wall. The seal around the toilet is cracking and leaking water and the vanity is waaaayy too big for the 5 feet wide (seriously!) space.

    I. Need. This. Prize!

    FIX ME

Our bathroom had a towel rack embedded into the tile and one support side broke, so the bar fell out and now we just have a hold on one side and an empty support on the other. :( To top it off, the tub drain doesn’t work and the fixtures in the tub are super old and tacky looking. This giveaway would be perfect!!!

I dont know what needs it most…could it be the yellowing linoleum from the late 70s? Or the vanity mirror that doesnt fit into the wall, sticking out a good inch from the wall? Or maybe the tub/shower that takes YEARS to drain? Hmm…Or the fact that our humble abode only has ONE bathroom and someday we can only dream of our next fixer-upper that just MIGHT have another… :)
