Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME! We’re planning on adding a bathroom in our unfinished basement soon. It’s roughed in, but that’s it. Studs and a concrete floor really don’t create a spa-like atmosphere ;)

    FIX ME!

Besides my entire bathroom (x2) that was built in 1985 and not TOUCHED since then, the most obvious of updates need are the light fixtures above the mirror. In BOTH bathrooms they are two lights with chain links that droop down like christmas lights (supposedly this is decorative?). Its horror.

    Help us!

This is so what I need! I just got done repainting the main bathroom, new shower curtain up but we desperately need new towel rack, toliet paper rack, light fixures, and a rug. I threw all the old stuff away as it was circa 1960 and starting to rust. Ick!

    Fix Me!

The downstairs shower in our new old home is unused with very good reason. Not only is the showerhead caked with buildup from years of neglect, but the knobs are so rickety that you can’t turn them without bits flaking off on your hand. Its a battle we haven’t had the courage to face as yet but will have to if we ever have visitors who want to shower!

I actually love our updated bathroom, but the problem is that it’s singular, not plural. In our 3 bedroom house, one bathroom is not enough! We’re planning to add another bathroom in our basement sometime soon – can’t wait!

    FiX ME!

We have actually been looking for new fixtures for our master bathroom so this would be so perfect and very timely! We love our house and have been fixing it up, like you all, but our bathrooms still have all the old gold fixtures from the 80’s. It is high time for an upgrade!

FIX ME! Ugh – this giveaway couldn’t be more timely since our master bathroom makes us so sick we are literally ripping everything out this week eventhough we don’t have anything yet to reinstall! (Luckily we have a 2nd bathroom at the ready!) The shower is the worst of all. It’s a one piece insert that has fake tile and not 1 but 2 benches leaving very little standing room. I love the voss fixtures – they’d be perfect!

    “Fix Me”

OMG, both of our houses bathrooms are in desperate need of help. The upstairs bath is 1950’s pink subway tile with pink floor tile. The vanity was likely replaced in the 70’s maybe, and does not seem to match anything.

Our downstairs bathroom was “updated” in the 70’s, with lovely brown tile and some type of vinyl flooring. It also has wallpaper in it.
