Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Where to start – there’s carpet in the master bath (ick), old tile on the tub and counter top, old grimy sinks, shower door doesn’t close properly, no place to hang towels, etc. Lots to do in that bath which we hope to start next year once the kitchen is done.

I think what most needs help are the nonmatching towel bars (and the holes in the wall from moving the old one to a new spot).

We have such a tiny shower in our master bathroom, and a horrible layout too. I’d love to redesign the bathroom and configure a new shower (complete with tile instead of a fiberglass/plastic preformed job).

Our bathroom has the icky early 90s cabinet and “matching” tri fold mirrored over the sink cabinet, builder installed white towel bars… It’s so outdated; not even mentioning the old faucet fixtures. Yuck! I feel like I’m in my childhood bathroom instead of the lovely contemporary bathroom that would fit with the rest of the updated house.

We have one of those pre fab acrylic stand up showers in our master bath. Whoever put it in attached it to drywall (!!) and there is now a gap between that and the shower (since the shower only goes up the wall so far). Also, here is no exhaust fan, so mold will very easily creep up if I don’t soak it down about once a week.

Can’t wait to get this thing done, but its not in the cards money wise right now. This would be a great start to what we need to do!

Oh gosh, our entire main bathroom and master half bath need rennovating. Both are stuck in the 60s. We need to replace the dressing room lighting on top of the mirror, the toilet doesn’t flush well, the vanity is so huge you can barely walk out of the bathroom (waste of space), the tub never looks clean no matter how much product you use or how hard you scrub and we have the uglist floral wallpaper up. Winning this will push us toward having our dream bath! YHL save our bathroom!!!! :)

I would say our whole bathroom is a disaster! We have a bathroom with 70’s flower power wallpaper (ceiling wallpapered as well, astro turf carpeting (I wish I was kidding!) and fixtures probably older than the 70’s. This would totally help us update our awful bathroom.

Fix me! My husbands bathroom, which is in our master bedroom, is about the size of a shoebox. There is a nasty plastic tub surround that leaks and has mold growing where the caulk used to be (please dont judge!) and about 18″ between the tub and the sink and toilet. It’s hard not to step out of the shower into the commode! I know it would seem so much bigger if we ditched the shower curtain and tub surround for a tiled shower with glass doors and updated the fixtures. C’mon Moen, we need something to kick start this project!

Where to start…probably the most noticeable thing is when my 6’3″ Hubby has to bend waaaaaaayyyyy down to use the sink. It looks like it was made for kids. But not in a good way. A new vanity would go along so perfectly with new Moen fixtures!

    Thank you! How fun!

Our bathroom currently has an array of the cheapest fixtures possible. No really; we are the proud owners of a $9 shower head and a $30 faucet. The faucet is so small and stout that you can barely fit your hands underneath it to wash them. My towel ring also falls off the wall and comes crashing down on your feet if you too aggressively dry your hands. All in all it’s pretty sad. The Boardwalk suite would definitely class up my hobo bathroom!

    FIX ME!!!

My house was built in the 70’s and I was fortunate enough that most of the house was left white (I didn’t need to worry about all the icky colored walls while dealing with green sculptured carpet).

Unfortunately, the bathrooms all have amazingly complex patterns of yellow and green floral wallpaper, yellow tile and fixtures, and green sculptured carpet…yes…IN the bathroom!!!

Amazingly, it is all in amazingly like-new condition so we are able to deal with it until we can upgrade bits at a time. People really think we have installed it all recently! Crazy.
