Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!!!

My whole bathroom needs an update! It’s stuck in 1964 with mint colored tile in the shower and all up the walls. The sink/vanity is hideous as well. The only updated thing is the floor tile which looks like it was installed in the early 90s. It needs a complete overhaul.

FIX ME! My toilet is in serious need of some TLC – most importantly the doesn’t-quite-flush-every-time feature. The boring shower curtain could use a makeover as well! Dare I say “bold pattern”?!

We have an attic room that was a bedroom but we’re planning to turn into a bath. While working on other projects, a plumber set up waste and water lines. We also have a plan, just looking for time.

FIX ME!!! Where do I start? Our master bathroom shower door has a lock on it… on the inside! Because the old owners messed up the door somehow and it won’t stay closed. Beside that the bathroom is in desperate need of updating – think ugly yellow-speckled tile work, mint-green walls, while floor tiles, with gray grout – YUCK.

We’re starting work on fixing it up and could really use the fixtures… :)

FIX ME! This would be amazing to win! Every single faucet in our house is either broken or leaking. We have wrenches on our broken shower knobs just to get them to turn on! I’m not sure what happened but the plastic knobs put into our house did not last long at all.

Fix me! Our master tub faucet has been leaking for like a year. Not sure what the problem is, but we see water under the faucet after we run the SHOWER….maybe a valve? But it’s 18 years old, so I think we would just take a new one to replace it. Thank you! :)

Our bathroom needs a new exhaust fan, a new shower head, a new tub (we had someone “refinish” it, only for it to start peeling a few weeks later. They refunded us, but now we’re stuck with a peely tub.). You know, NBD or anything ;-) We could totally use this to at least help us with our shower head/shower faucet issue and to help us hire out for the others.

FIX ME! Where do I begin!? When we moved in, the tub in our master bath had a glass door affixed to the tub. We ripped that out and put up a shower curtain, but now the tub has several holes where the door was attached. How I would love to patch the holes and the cracked tub surround!! Also, the stopper to two of our sink drains (master bathroom sink and hall sink) are both broken, so rings, small toys, etc. are in constant danger of being lost!
