Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

My master bathroom needs a total remodel: no door, mis-matching sinks, ugly countertop, and grout-challenged shower! This would be a great start for us!

    FIX ME!

Our tub surround is GROSS. When we moved in, I’m not sure if the previous owners had it installed improperly, but all the seam lines have this gross black stuff that refuses to come off no matter what products I apply or how much elbow grease is used. Updating the bathroom is definitely on the to do list for the next year!

I have never liked the fixtures in our kids’ bath. I would love to upgrade them. Plus we need to redo the caulk around the countertops in there, add frames around the mirrors and get a light/fan combo that actually brightens the room! This prize would be so awesome!

    FIX ME!

Our shower is in dire need of a major overhaul – it’s got the gross yellow stains around it that won’t go away no matter how much elbow grease we use, and the tile is cracked, and the grout is missing too, so I’m pretty sure we’ve got mold / mildew issues. I’m actually drawing up plans to redo it right now, so keeping my fingers crossed that this comes to me at just the right time!

FIX ME! The hideous builder grade ceramic towel bar and toilet paper holder leave a lot to be desired, but it is the vanity mirror that is the most in need of an update – a mirror framed by a beveled mirror? It’s hard to describe but basically its mirrorception.

Our bathrooms are original to the house, circa 1950’s salmon colored tile and all. We recently had a leak, so I would have to say that the three big holes are the most desperate needs that have to be addressed!

Since we can’t match the tiles we trying to remodel our master bath (you can see details and pictures on our blog!) and I am having trouble making choices. This would be one less choice I had to make!

FIX ME . . . where do i start? The first thing I would probably do is upgrade the shower. I can spend 2 hours cleaning it and it looks like i never touched it. Also, our vanity is cracked and also is hard to make look clean. Winning these fixtures would be a huge step.

We’re actually in the middle of trying to renovate our entire guest bathroom on our own. The previous owner tiled over tile in the shower, and installed horribly ugly sliding doors in the shower. We’ve ripped it all out, and are about to install clean, white subway tile in the shower.
