Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME; everything in my guest bath needs to be fixed or replaced. Start with paint, the UGLY mirror, and we can’t forget that the lavatory hot water knob broke so no hot water there.

Our bathroom is a nightmare! Our house was built in 1930, most of the bathroom is original, other than the tile. The tile is the worst and it’s linoleum, YUCK!

We have a bath straight out of 1920. It has that funky beige-ish tile (you know I mean). It needs some loving for sure.

    FIX ME!!!!

Our entire first floor bathroom is in need of a rehab! The top ten reasons why we could use this FIX ME:

    1) The room is literally just about 8 or 9 feet by only 6 feet– a very narrow rectangle!
    2) An uninsulated floor that sits above a concrete cellar and only has linoleum on it
    3) Tub fixtures so old that they make vintage a compliment–and they all leak and spray water when you turn them on
    4) A commmode that is 10 inches from the tub so only a child can sit on it
    5) Moisture took its toll on the interior closet space–we had a science fair project in the making
    6) Did I mention the tub and the toilet are pepto bismol pink?
    7) There are no outlets in the space
    8) All the pipes and fixtures will need to be moved to rennovate
    9) The shower stall bar is mounted onto a window to keep it in place
    10) We also had ground settling so the plaster ceilings have all cracked along the joints and need to be redone

We have our work cut out for us and we ADORE Moen this would be the greatest home rennovation gift ever–unless you happen to have Mike Holmes on direct dial!

    Thanks!

We love in a newer house, but it was cheaply built so all of the fixtures are really really cheap (and don’t match, they are nickel, every other metal thing in our house is brassy gold)! The worst part is our guest bathroom has blue linoleum with old lady flowers on it. Its a 1950s pattern in a 10 year old house! Blechh!

I just bought a house in February, and everything about its bathrooms are dated. From the terrible brown linoleum to the beige sink/toilet/tub and the mismatched gold and silver shower head and faucets. My husband and I are trying to update a lot of the house ourselves and this would be so helpful! Thanks!

We’re on the home stretch of our hallway bathroom. It still needs baseboards, a new door (currently held with shims) and the vanity needs to be securely fastened (we found the walls to NOT equal 90 degrees), so we’re sorting through the mess of uneven walls! No fun.

Our master bath is in dire need of remodeling. It’s a beautiful 1904 home with wood floors that carry into the bathroom. We also love the original claw foot tub – that we’ll keep. However, the vanity is out-dated as well as the toilet, faucetry, & accessories. Could use a fresh coat of paint too! We’re excited to get the project under way. Thanks for your consideration!
