Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    Fix me!

My whole bathroom is in need of updating. It is a rental though, and we hope to buy in the somewhat near future. Still…it is very ugly and worn out with drywall patched again and again when it should have been replaced, towel and toilet paper roll holders coming off, a mismatched toilet and lid. It is not pretty.

Hall bathroom- needs a new vanity (current one is from when the house was built in 1970’s), the lovely yellow tile that is on the vanity, walls, and shower needs to go asap; along with the hideous avocado and yellow tile on the floor.
Master bathroom – is completely gutted so it needs everything!!
We basically need help all across the board!

    FIX ME!!! HELP!

My house was built in 1946, and while the tile is ‘charming’… it’s STILL the same as it was in 1946! AHH!! Hence cracks, crumby grout and 60+ years of wear and tear. The whole bathroom needs a re-do. It’s a big job and this would be a beautiful start to the project!

Fix me! Er.. my bathroom… We have this awful mid-90s clamshell sink that’s integrated into our countertop. And I want to change the faucet, but I want a vessel sink, so it would be a waste to buy a faucet NOW and then buy another one when I change the sink. THEN! I’d change the sink, but I want to build a vanity, and the flooring doesn’t go under my existing vanity, so i’d have to refloor… It’s just this whole big thing… Anyhow, I could afford to do most of my “list”, and new fixtures would probably make it 100% possible right NOW! :-)

Which is worse – turning the faucet on and having the handle fall off into my hand, requiring me to use needlenose pliers to adjust the temperature and the on/off ability, OR finding little specks of (what I really hope is actually drops of wood stain) blood on the vanity from the previous owner.
