Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!

The most immediate repair is sanding down all the paneling and refinishing it. The current paint job is so horrible, you can actually rip of solid drips of paint from the surface. Horrible!

Our guest bathroom is a mess! We have a leaky too short shower head and the sink area needs a complete makeover…trust me, we could put those fixtures to good use!

Fix me!! My poor, pathetic bathroom needs help. While I already have a few pieces of the puzzle, like a beautiful medicine cabinet compliments of a Restoration Hardware clearance a couple years ago, I desperately still need a new faucet to replace the current drippy model. And that $250 would go a long way towards replacing the vanity with the door that falls off and is patched up with toothpicks (seriously, toothpicks).

    FIX ME!!

I have to say it’s a tough call choosing between the shower and the vanity for what needs to be fixed the most. But, because there’s a giant crack in the top and the flow from the faucet is rather slow, I think the vanity takes the cake!

FIX ME!!! Ugh… everything in our master bath needs redone. We haven’t touched it since moving in 4 years ago, and I think before that it hasn’t been touched since 1970. Can you picture a carpeted floor and a greenish yellow countertop on a vanity that is only about 2 feet tall? And a leaky gross faucet? And more and more? Hope I win!!! :-)

Where to begin – yellow, floral tile. Wooden chair-rail. (Who has a chair in a bathroom anyway?!) Brass/gold sink fixtures. Mirror/cabinet falling off of the wall. Lightbulbs that are no longer made. Peel n’ stick “tile”.

It’s the only room we haven’t touched yet, and this would definitely be a good kickstart to get it moving!

Our bathroom is sort of in a mismatched, sad state of being right now– and we just took down the old shower door (gross!) so I’ve actually been trying to figure out where I left the tube of caulk so I can fill in the old screw holes… I guess at the moment the problem is part bathroom, part me. :/
