Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix me! Both of our upstairs bathrooms (kids’ and master) are in dire need of a makeover. Actually, we’re starting work on the kids’ bathroom in a few weeks and I’ve already starting collecting things for the master bath, as well. This giveaway would be perfect timing for us!

Our ceramic tile needs fixing! Our dog dropped her bone it and it actually cracked it :(
Also, the grout is looking super dingy!

    FIX ME!!

I Hate (yes, capital H) our bathroom with the burning fury of the sun. Top to bottom, it’s all wrong, and I don’t even know where to start to make it right! But I suppose my biggest issue with it is that the tile job is really crappy and the grout lines have cracked (I’m sure there’s water in the wall back there!). This prize would be very nice motivation to demo the whole thing and start fresh!

FIX ME! My husband and I just bought our first house. It has a lot of potential, but needs many updates — starting with the 1960s upstairs bathroom! I fantasize about gutting that entire room and starting over :) This prize would certainly go a long way toward that dream!

There are (always) lots of aesthetic things I’d like to tweak, but the sink in our master bathroom just developed an under-the-counter-leak, so that has jumped to the top of the list…sigh.

    FIX ME:

We just finished a major DIY bathroom reno (which looks great if I do say so myself). However, we now have painfully mismatched bathrooms. So, what we really need are new fixtures, a new vanity, new tiles, the whole nine yards.

We have a builder grade, huge mirror in two of our bathrooms. They are just ugly to look at. I really want to take it down in my bathroom (maybe framing in the kids’ bathroom), but I’m afraid that we’ll drop it and it’ll smash everywhere.

FIX ME! Oh my god, I need this SO badly. Our master/only full sized bath has a shower the size of a very small phone booth and a giant “whirlpool” tub that doesn’t whirl, hardly drains, and will not get clean. Renovating that room is the very next thing on our to-do list but with a husband in the Navy and two toddlers we don’t get much of anything done these days.

    FIX ME!

Oh, I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed on this giveaway! Our upstairs bathroom faucet has been running at a trickle the last couple of weeks. Since it cannot be repaired, we need a new one. Here is the deal… that bathroom is in such a bad need of an overhaul! If I get a sink faucet, the tub needs one too, then there is the whole lopsided sink, and the medicine cabinet missing one door, the flooring is disgusting (clean, but ugly-disgusting)… Thankfully we have a sparkly beautiful bathroom downstairs for guests. After seven years of projects, the house is 90% done. And we have run out of steam for that bathroom. This might be the thing to get our mojo back!

Our whole bathroom is sadly outdated, but the biggest offender of all is the yellow-gold impossible to match paint to tile! It makes every decorating choice a complete hassle.

FIX ME! We just bought a condo and our atrocious 70s bathroom is in serious need of some updating. The sink has a huge rusted hole in it, so my husband and I now brush our teeth in the kitchen. And the previous owners used the bathtub to contain kitty litter, so in short, it’s gross. We can’t wait to replace, well, everything.

FIX ME!! We are actually in the beginning (planning stages) of our bathroom DIY remodel. Somehow my husband and I have put up with our PINK 50?s bathroom for the past 5 years (only full bath in the house)! We are finding out how many choices there are with fixtures, sinks, etc. and feel overwhelmed. This would be the perfect way to kickstart the remodel!!
