Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix Me! Oh my goodness! We are getting ready to redo the kids bathroom and I have not bought the fixtures yet. How cool would this be! Anyway, Even though we are starting with the kids bathroom ours is the one that really needs some help. The shower is not level so the water pools to the back. Well you can imagine the build up we get. Yuck! That and you can almost touch your elbows to each wall! :)

FIX ME! Oh my goodness, out whole bathroom needs fixing. We just moved into a new house and the master bath is out next project. From the gold fleur de lis on the tiles to the gold fixtures, we need a complete renovation. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

I love the new looks from Moen and our fixtures are that ridiculous gold/silver mix that look like they are from the 70’s. Ew!

We live in a one bathroom house and the whole thing needs to be updated; sink, mirror, toilet, fixtures, etc. It’s been on our list of things to do for a while now (I painted last year so that must count for something), just working up the courage to tackle it. Thanks for the opportunity!

Where do I start? The shower door will only open in one direction – the vanity is so low it hits me at mid-thigh – the faucet leaks unless you wiggle it *just* the right way – the shoe molding is peeling off after an accidental bath-tub flood (oops!). I could go on and on – please fix me!!

    FIX ME!!

Everything in our master bathroom needs to be fixed! It was all blue all over (blue tub, floor tiles, shower tiles, toilet, paint!) so we ripped out the tub (cast-iron!), toilet, sink/vanity, floor (there are now holes that let you see into the basement), and all the tiles… so we are in MAJOR need of a reno and this would help sooooo much!!! :)

FIX ME! I can’t believe how timely this is, since we’ve just started in on brightening up our bathroom. Phase 1: new paint and hardware (finished first coat of Blue Sage last night and was just eyeing some Moen!). Phase 2: new tiling around tub & on the floor, plus fixing the ceiling which is peeling. What a great giveaway!

FIX ME!!!! My bathrooms are SOOO in need of this! Every single thing about them needs to be updated – asbestos industrial floor tile, particle board vanities held together with brown duct tape, broken lights, mirror fallen off the wall, extra-short rusted tub, and when we turn on the shower faucet, an incredibly LOUD GROANING NOISE issues from the pipes!!

Our bathroom is original to the house – and is the “LOVELY” 1960’s Blue, with some “charming” wood veneer around the “delightful” blue sink!! the whole thing is in need of a do-over! but I guess its better than the 1960’s avocado bathroom at our last house!

Our shower door is that 70s dimpled glass door with the metal track, and the door does not slide very easily anymore, so once you hop in the shower you are pretty much locked in! It takes a feat of strength to lift it back on track to open the door and free yourself!

Everything in our shower needs to be fixed. The cheap plastic (!) tile is falling off in parts, the hot/cold nobs leak like crazy whenever the water is turned on and the original owners never had a shower head in the bathroom (which is the ONLY bathroom) so we have a temporary shower head (it connects to the tub faucet via a hose) keeps falling off the wall.
I am so ready for a make over!!

FIX ME! I’ve been renting since college, but my parent’s primary bathroom is in dire need of an upgrade. We’re talking 1970’s style (or lack thereof…) but with the added charm of a rusting tub and loose tiles. And on top of all that, my brother made the second bathroom his project before moving out, but never finished it, leaving it useless! Needless to say if I had the good fortune to win I would be ‘regifting’ to my parents, but strongly pointing them in the direction of the Voss collection – love!
