Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME:

My bathroom currently doesn’t have a mirror, the sink faucet moves from side to side, and the hot/cold handles are not set in place and leave a lot of dirt or mold even when I clean it! The sink itself is way too big for the space and doesn’t have the best storage option. Also, there is no space for our toilet paper to go. Our shower has crumbly PINK grout and ugly tiles, the shower head is too low for my boyfriend and almost too low for me (I’m 5’4!!).

It needs a lot of help :\

    thanks for doing the giveaway!

The cabinets need replacing for sure. Once upon a time someone decided to repaint them one time too many and now none of them close properly.

    FIX ME!

Our master bath is in much need of a total remodel. I think our shower is the worst-it’s made up of actual walls and a glass shower door, so that there’s only about a foot of ventilation space. With all the steam it’s so hard to just breath when we take a shower. :/

FIX ME! Where to start? We live in a frame house that has shifted over the years, which caused our toilet to sit higher than the floor. We had to prop it up with a scrap piece of wood for now. Speaking of floors, ours is peel and (sometimes)stick. Our fixtures are AWFUL (the 80’s builder basic “crystal” knobs). Our counter tops are cultured marble. I’m sure I’m leaving something out, but I PROMISE we would put the $$$(and fixtures, too) to good use.

There is carpet in our master bath (and second bath as well) that lives in front of the tub that I would love to replace with tile. It is heinous! But at least there is tile surrounding the shower.

Our master bathroom is on my list for updates. The house was built in 2003 so it’s not horribly out of date, it’s just not our style. I want to replace ALL of the fixtures and re-paint the walls and the vanity. This would make that project happen pronto!

Our bathroom had a built in medicine cabinet with mirror that’s just ugly, a big sink/cabinet that leaks and plugs constantly and a weird window that looks right out at the front door.

oh I’m not sure what’s NOT to fix, ripped plastic flooring, a beige rocky toilet, a shower stall that was probably a cast off from a cruise ship (it’s that small) and a carpeted step up to a (maybe worked in another life) jetted tub. We’re ready to gut the place and start over…and new fixtures might be just the push we need….great giveaway – thanks once again for another great one!

We have a new-to-us house with a master suite addition made in 2005. They chose the cheapest faucets and fixtures possible in the master bath. This addition is worse for wear than the bathroom that is original (1941) to the house!

We seriously need new towel bars and a new light fixture. Every other day, when one of us replaces our towel, one of the bars falls off scaring the other one of us half to death. And the light fixture is one of those awful outdated ones that you would expect in an 80’s dressing room. Oh and why are all our cabinet knobs gold, but everything else is silver and white?
