Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

We have those builder grade bathroom faucets that only have one handle for hot and cold. We can never get it at the “right” temperature. Not to mention those tacky ceramic towel rods and toilet paper holders and the kind of shower faucet that I must have slightly bumped one night getting out only to have my husband sprayed in the face the next morning when he turned it on! Oops.

    FIX ME!!!

We actually JUST replaced our sink faucet and shower fixtures…they were both leaking. But our bathroom needs an entire makeover–new vanity, new mirror, would love to replace the entire tub/shower, new flooring (desperately in need of new floors, the previous owner decided to lay tile himself, let’s just say it wasn’t the best idea–he tiled around the toilet instead of taking the toilet out, so if we ever want to replace the toilet we’d have to rip out the floor too…lovely), the list goes on and on in our only bathroom :)

FIX ME. Our guest bath/kids bath has twelve feet of cabinetry from the late sixties and the countertop running over it is several pieces of laminate caulked together. Then there is the torn linoleum floor. This redo is still a few down the list but an update would be fabulous.

    FIX ME :)
Our little family just grew by another member just two weeks after we signed the papers on our new ‘old’ home. We actually purchased this home from my family’s estate (my grandparents both passed away this year). It is a fixer upper, but we love all the old charm. It was built in the 1960s. We’ve been there for close to 3 months now, and we’ve already encountered our first ‘problem’. There was a leaking pipe in our front yard, so we just had that replaced. Sadly our yard currently looks like a meteor crashed into it :) oh well! That’s the life of 2 working students with 2 children and a dog!!

    Fix Me!

Since moving in two years ago we have renovated our master bath (DIY style) due to a leaking shower that forced our hand. But after recovering from the cost (right around $2000 which includes travertine tile for the shower and all the flooring) I havnt been able to spend any $$ on the hall bath…..because I am a true cheap-o. This prize would be amazing!

    FIX ME…pretty please!

Hmmm…let me count the ways. I think the question is more like what doesn’t need to be replaced?! We have the “builders greade special” which wasn’t installed properly.
Our super fancy double vanity (too big for our small bathroom), consists of 2 small oak home depot cabinets that were put next to each other and topped w/ speckled salmon linoleum counter top. Did I mention that the cabinets aren’t even flush?
Then there’s the peel and stick faux granite tiles and of course our shower/tub which is missing tiles which we have cleverly covered w/ tape to prevent water damage. OY VEY!
Don’t even get me started on the light fixtures…
We have one large wall to wall mirror and ABSOLUTELY NO STORAGE, so our counter tops are covered w/ products and the clutter is DRIVING ME CRAZY!
We have one daughter and another on the way and I’d really LOVE to get that room tackled before the arrival of our next baby.
We’ve been piecing ideas together to do a “budget friendly” bathroom reno for a while, so this would help our wallets AND give us the push we need to get started!
