Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Oh, our master bath – the vanity is cracked, the shower is so-so-so-small and there isn’t any air circulation. Major fog out for every shower. A little update would be so nice!

    FIX ME….puh-leeeze!

Our house is a fixer upper and our master bathroom shower was leaking and rotting the floor. It was all fun & games until somebody’s foot went through the cheap linoleum :-/ Anyway, we recently stripped the room down to studs only to find a concrete slab six inches underneath the subflooring, old termite damage, and plumbing issues. Soooo sad. Right now, there’s plastic over the doorway and we are now a family of 5 with one bathroom. It’s driving me CRAZY! This would certainly go a long way towards helping us fix it back!

FIX ME! Where do I start. Every bathroom in my house is disgusting. But the worst offender of them all is the hall bath. The bath that everyone sees and uses when they visit. It has a faux wood countertop with water ring stains all over it. Brick (yes, outdoor brick!) shower walls and bright brass faucet fixtures. Oh, let’s not forget the clam shell sink. All I can say is FIX ME before I go in there with a sledge hammer and no plan. :0)

    FIX ME!

The tub faucet has GOT to go. It’s rusty on the underside, which attracts water and pulls it away from the spout. This allows a trail of water to spill over the side of the tub and ruin the adjacent wall. Needless to say, I hope I win this one.

    Thanks for the chance!

Our bath tub plumbing is ridiculously located on an exterior wall and needs to be reinsulated so our pipes don’t freeze again this year! The tub is surrounded with cheap-o plastic panels that are screaming to be replaced with gorgeous subway tile! By George, we would love new snazzy hardware to dress it all up!

    FIX ME!

We have absolutely no storage space in our bathroom as the vanity is only a sink and a half cabinet. However, all of our fixtures suffer from a combination of builder basic and contractors that didn’t — apparently — understand the concept of hand-washing. Not to mention the fact that our shower fixtures are for some reason on the opposite wall as the water, resulting in drainage issues… Anything would help at this point.

FIX ME! Our master bathroom is gold central, which drives my husband crazy. We just bought this house, though, so we’re going to live with it a while. The thing that drives me crazy is my super low sink. First world problem, I know. But every time I had to touch my toes to wash my hands, I was a little irritated. Past tense because my sink doesn’t get used anymore. Much to my husband’s chagrin!

Our master bathroom is enough to push me over the edge! The floor tiles are cracked, the grout is so dirty it’s turned another color, the shower gets rust stains constantly, the shower head leaks, the shower tiles are avocado green, there is floral wallpaper, and it’s all crammed into the tiniest of spaces. I could go on and on but I’ll just say that we could really use this Moen package. Thank you!

My house was built in 1958 and the bathroom hasnot been updated. It’s in south Florida with a snazzy blue tub, blue sink, blue toilet, and white and blue tile. Oh and a blue and gold sparkle counter top. The faucets would be a small start but a great one. Cheers.
