Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!!!

We just bought our house and moved in in April. The shower stopped up so bad that water pooled in the bottom of the shower…we quickly found out the tile is not calked well because there’s now a water stained spot on the ceiling in our livingroom :( After we remodel our kitchen (currently in the process of doing) we are remodeling both bathrooms upstairs, can’t wait!!!

I suppose our bathroom isn’t as bad as some others out there. We just built our home about six months ago and it’s so builder-grade-BORING*! We have a lot of space and everything is so standard I can’t stand it! I would LOVE the Boardwalk collection to help spruce it up in there!

I am going to actually repaint our master bathroom this weekend to spruce it up a bit on a budget! These fixtures and the gift card would most definately help me get it a little farther, much faster! It really needs a new sink and vanity too!

    FIX ME

Is it fair to say EVERYTHING needs to be replaced?? But if I had to pick the most desperate situation it would be the floor, which was from what I can tell was originally green/grey, but then covered over with awful stick on linoleum tiles in a grey brown marble-y pattern that just look gross and dirty. Wish the last owners had just left the green/grey tiles, even if they must have clashed horribly with the pink tub. Now about that pink tub… that would be next on the list. In desperate need of re-glazing! It is dyeing to become a white glossy tub!

    “FIX ME”

Perfect timing… we’re starting a gut renovation of our only bathroom next month and I have yet to pick out fixtures. Everything is in dire need of replacement, including the original 1940s galvanized pipe that goes to the basement. Can’t wait to see how much that costs me but it’s worth it to finally have a tub that actually drains.

I have a bathroom FULL of white specked tile with a dusty blue trim. The vanity in the small bathroom takes up the ENTIRE wall with a mirror to match. There is so much wrong with the poor bathroom that I don’t know where to begin!

We would love to ditch the speckled tiles in the shower and the pinkish tiles on the floor. Oh and the lovely vanity that is 40 years old and it’s about a foot too short for the average person can go too. Some new fixtures would be the ticket to encourage a whole new bathroom remodel, which is definitely needed!

Calling our master bathroom an eye sore is an understatement. Otherwise known as the “brass palace”, the hot pink walls, black and white pattern tile and the overwhelming brass touches everywhere, it is the first room we’re talking as new homeowners.

We’re happy renting a place with great, updated bathrooms, but my sister-in-law could really use some help with her 1940s original. Where to start…? Well, I guess there are all the missing tiles around the window, from when they upgraded to double-paned models.
