Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Fix me please! The vanity in my hall bath (the one 30 year old one my 2 year old broke the doors off of) makes me want to puke. Also the fixtures are the cheap and our bathtub & sink are both missing their drain stops. It drives me nuts.

Fix me! We moved into a new house in April, and the downstairs bathroom needs help: nasty old vanity, horrible brass towel bars and toilet roll holder, and a toilet that smells of b.o. (seriously! I don’t understand it!).

Our bathroom has the style and taste of the previous owners and it is definitely not us at all! It’s not horrible but we always feel like we are in someone else’s bathroom. We love the Boardwalk style!

FIX ME!!! right now the updating is taking a back seat to a leak in WC…seems one of the pipes that feed into the toilet has been leaking for Lord only knows how long and we’ve got a good amount of water damage to contend with…maybe that will equal out to a new master bath?

Fix me!! Our bathroom is in need of many things. For one, a larger shower, my 6’4″ husband has to shower in the hall bath bc the glass box shower is to small for him. Second, it is in need of new faucets (gaudy gold is not really our thing) and a new mirror (again with the gaudy gold trim). Third, a new counter would be great but that could stand to wait awhile. And lastly a tub that someone other than a child could take a bath in. Maybe the people who lived in our house before we really short people??

FIX ME! The bathroom in my home’s basement is terrible. For some reason is has two closet like rooms which each contain a toilet and sink. Plus there is small plastic shower in the middle of the opposite wall (so that you can still open the door and access the window). It really needs to be gutted and redone.

    Fix me!

Our biggest problem is we have a epic long countertop with a sink squished on the far side. So our bathroom is almost entirely old, old, old, old laminate countertop. We don’t have the budget to rearrange the bathrom/add another sink (our home is older, so any changes turn into big dollar projects when you have to bring everything up to newer codes). So, updating all of the other finishes with super fabulous fixtures should allow the countertops to stop stealing all the attention.

where do i start?! our house was built in 1933 and the previous owner updated the plumbing before we bought the house 2 years ago. that’s the good news. but he left us with plywood covered holes in the walls, a blue (!) sink, exposed wiring in the ceiling and wallpaper that would give you vertigo. a bathroom facelift would be a thrill!

FIX ME! We bought a 1950s estate home last year and our loo still screams old lady! Right down to the brown mottled wallpaper, thigh high pressboard vanity, acrylic sink and icky 1980s tile with the brown grout falling out. Fix me! Pleeease fix me! The best word I can come up with to describe the shower in our bathroom would be “vestibule” . I’m scared to go in it to even clean it. I seriously have my doubts that one could actually shower in it. It’s one of those ” space saving” varieties that is a quarter of a circle.

Fix me, baby! Where do I begin . . . In my bathroom, if you must sit on the toilet and you have legs, your knees smack on the bathtub. The shower head is original, dainty, and frequently gets all wonky and sprays erratically all over the bathroom. Is that enough? . . . The tile is golden speckled, and there are sad, stenciled sunflowers along the trim. Shiver.

Hey Guys! Love your blog and I’m a first time commentor!! Your giveaway drew me out of my shell!! We moved into our home in January and are no where near as handy as you guys, boy do I wish we were! Our master bath is about 3 x 3, not literally but when you walk in it feels it! You are greeted by the nean blue tile on the floor, obviously painted tile half way up the walls, original (1960’s) toilet paper holder, towel holder, toothbrush and cup holders, and our beautifully updated mexican bowl sink!! In what universe does a mexican bowl sink go with 60’s decor?!!?! Beats Me!!
I love the modern and sleek fixtures available now and the ones you have listed are beautiful! We’re about to have our first baby (yay!) and a little help on the updates would be amazing and would probably be a little nudge to my hubby to get something started!!

We’re are in the planning stages of a masterbath overhaul so this couldn’t have been a better time to discuss new fixtures! I love the Moen fixtures and would really like to replace the ones we have in the overhaul. Working ona budget, we’re going for the “must do” first: new tile (floors & backsplash), light fixtures, vanity, paint and mirror trim. I would love to add all these fixtures to the overhaul! I love your blog and use it as inspiration for my DIY projects… thanks! :)

FIX ME PLEASE !! What’s wrong with our bathroom you ask? Well, just about everything. It has not been updated since the 80s! For starters, the shower is an insert which is cracked and our sink is in an oversized cabinet which takes up tons of space. We are in the process of hiring a contractor to help us tackle this Reno mess and new fixtures would be FABULOUS to help get this room up to date.

We just accepted the bank’s counter offer on a house. As long as everything goes well we will be the proud owners of our very first house. But the house comes with one scary, out-dated bathroom. The walls of the shower have wood siding on them and shower head is missing. The walls of the rest of the bathroom have floral wallpaper and 50’s pink & black tile. We’ve got quite a bit of work ahead of us. But I’m so excited!

My wife and I just bought a new home (to us) and one of the bathrooms is HORRIBLE! It has a mocha and chocolate mosaic tile in the shower and on the floor, with a matching “dirty yellow” tub. It makes me want to vomit….as it acutally looks like vomit.

We have been wanting to redo it since the day we saw it, but the fixtures are the most expensive part, so it still sits incomplete. This would make our day if we won!

Please pick us, and help me be no longer sick to my stomach from this hideous joke of a bathroom!
