Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

There’s a few things in my bathroom that desperately need replacing. Ugly, outdated, & olive colored tiles in shower? Check. Leaky faucet? Check. Ugly oak vanity? Check. :(

FIX ME! In fact, fix everything in the bathroom – from the blue (ick) toilet and tub to the vinyl flooring to the outdated medicine cabinet. The only thing I like is the shower curtain. Anything would be an improvement at this point!

FIX ME! We bought our first home from the 3 Stooges…they just slopped paint on everything and called it good. They didnt even wait for the paint to dry to put up the bathroom hardware (so the paint is peeling off cookie-cutter style around the towel bars) nor bother to level the TP holder. The shower is cracked in a dozen places, and the whole thing sits on the original plumbing, ca 1947. Needless to say, it needs more love than just sloppy paint ;)

    FIX ME!

We just moved into our first home, a 1919 Colonial which we absolutely LOVE, except the bathroom. People in 1919 must have been much shorter than 2012 because the counter height doesn’t even reach the bottom of my front pockets in my jeans. we desperately need to raise the counters, replace the sinks, faucets and toilet! This prize package would be awesome to win!

I have always thought that if I ended up with the classic pink 50s bath that I would honor it. However my dusty rose tub and toilet came with mint green wall tile. We need a total overhaul.
it is not working for me not even in a kitchy way.

FIX ME!!! Everything about my bathroom is old…but since we updated the paint, shower surround and shower curtain what really needs work is the vanity and sink! The fixtures are terrible so I would love this prize, but the sink is permanently stained from hard water and old age, the lighting is terrible and old and needs to go, and the vanity is awful! We’ll get there some day…this would sure help!

FIX ME! Our bathroom is the super generic lower end builders bathroom. The mirror and globe vanity lights, and odd medicine cabinet that sticks out RIGHT next to the mirror…and the baseboards…which are vinyl!! Like the stuff you see in schools….Those are just a couple things we are dying to fix!

First, I’d like to thank for creating a blog that my new bride is obsessed with and therefore giving us many many many many new projects to tackle ;)

Our bathroom could definitely use new fixtures (our shower handle/temp adjustment knob falls off unless you know how to turn it just right) and room (a girl, plus a single sink vanity = stuff all over the place!)

Love your blog, look forward to new inspirations! (We’re currently pondering how to re-create the shelf – 19ft desk combo you guys have done – AWESOME)

FIX ME, please!! For some reason, someone thought it would be cool to put a tropical fish tile mosaic in the floor of our hall bath (cause that’s timeless, right?). I hate it, and we’ve been scheming ideas of how to totally update the bathroom anyways, so new hardware would just be the icing on the cake! :) And of course, I would post all about it on our blog! :)

OMG. It’s a toss-up between where the people who re-grouted the tub grouted in a spider which is now a divot and collects water and mold and the stained linoleum (which predated my two little pee-ers!! Really!)

FIX ME! My master bath is in serious need of help. A. all of the accessories and fixtures have accents of honey colored wood or are wood themselves…towel loop, towel bar, faucet. The bathroom mirrors are the same wood, but have a glass inset in a fab pattern (for my 70 year old former owner). And the tile in the shower is a pink/gray mosaic inset tile all the way around. And the floors are marble-like linoleum. Awesome!

FIX ME!! We just bought our first home… my bathroom shower stall has icky tile grout that has lived it’s life and needs to be redone. The shower stall also has an overhead light that is falling (!!!) and probably will get replaced with a can light (recessed). The vanity is eh… ok. It has old crystal ball type faucets that leak ever so slightly. The mirrors are so tiny. We can hardly see ourselves!! So, yeah, it needs lots of work, but winning this would set us up really well to update the bathroom into something fantastic and enjoyable!!
