Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME!! All three bathrooms in my house need work. They all have crappy linoleum floors that are peeling, shower surrounds that are coming apart, and popcorn ceilings that are falling down. Not to mention the cheap fixtures that are all falling off the walls or falling apart! Ugh!

    Fix Me!

We have 1960’s pink tile all over our guest bath. Worst of all, the prior owners tried to paint over some of them, and the brown paint is chipping to reveal pink tile beneath. Gross.

omg, our bathroom is a MESS…..when we bought our house 15 years ago, the tub was a nice nasty beige color….since it’s a non-standard (ie expensive to replace) size, we had it reglazed in white….and now that ‘glaze’ is peeling off in large strips…..GROSS! and then there’s the paint coming off the walls which is really thick because some moron put paint or somehow put this weird texture onto the walls giving this layer of ‘gunk’ everywhere that’s now leaving pock marks as it falls off. it’s awesome, really it is. *sigh*…..

Does anyone need 4 handicap rails? Cuz my bathroom has them. Yep that means replacing all the tile along with the peeling light fixture, 2-prong plugs and adding non-existent storage. MOEN products would make it look much better!

FIX ME!! – Last of 2 bathrooms needing remodeling. 80’s wallpaper, cracked tiles from being installed wrong, one of the bulbs in the vanity light doesn’t get power (that can’t be safe), has terribly low countertop, I could go on but I’ll spare you for now.

FIX ME! Nothing is really wrong with our bathroom beyond being builder-grade stuff. Take that back; one sink faucet leaked so we turned the hot water off to it. I guess it’s been a while because I’ve pretty much forgotten that it needs to be replaced.

    Fix ME-
I have everyone else beat in terms of the age of bathroom fixtures…Our 2-flat was built in 1901 and the fixtures are original. The sink still has 2 separate spouts for hot and cold water-it belongs in a barn! We have a claw foot tub (no shower apparatus) in desperate need of resurfacing-We have to shower at the gym! I have had it with the “charm” of original fixtures, I need some functionality!!

Please, fix me…my poor master bathroom….

I have to needy bathrooms, but my master is pretty bad…

I need to paint the cabinets and walls, and remove the old glass door but the absolute worst???? The actual institutional tan toilet from I’d have to say the 1970’s.

It is so bad. Still works, but oh my goodness is it awful!!!

The master bath is truely the last room that will get done, so hopefully next year I’ll send you a before and after on it!

    FIX ME!

The most challenging part about our bathroom is lack of space. Our house is old and there’s only one bathroom for all to share. Everything is squeezed into that tiny little space with no room to spare. If money was no object I’d knock out walls to expand it and make it luxurious. :)
