Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME! We just bought our first house and the shower in the master bath is a mess of shiny brass, tiny shower head and icky textured glass. I would love to revamp it all!

FIX ME! Closing on our first home this month and none of the bathrooms have been renovated since the 70s (if not not before!). We need it all, but top of the list are sinks, they’re old and too short for my poor hubby, can’t wait for taller (and prettier) sinks complete with new fixtures (we hope!).

FIX ME! It’s hard to pick just one thing in our master bathroom. From the tarnished gold fixtures (gag!) to the 2″ skin colored tile accented with a lovely burgundy coordinating tile which is even on the ceiling (it’s nauseating), our bathroom is one disgusting mess of ugly.

    FIX ME!

Our bathroom sink is in the shape of a giant sea shell. You read that correctly, someone decided that a giant sea shell sink was a great idea. Other than the fact that ocean-themed decorating is not really our thing, the sink also functions terribly. Due to the shell shape, you have to aim your toothpaste spit straight for the drain, or it falls back into the body of the shell, which is the lowest part of the sink, and doesn’t drain at all. gross!

Fix Me! Oh my where do I start? Our only bathroom has walls that are solid marble from floor to about 5ft high & it is hideous! Not to mention the people who installed it about 60+ years ago cut out half of the trim around the doors, cabinet & window to add even more hideous marble. Our toilet & sink are just as old as the marble. Our hot knob broke off this past spring but we haven’t replaced it yet because the whole sink needs replaced & I don’t want to install it twice. All of our towel rods, tooth brush holder & soap holder is fixed into the marble. Our mirrored vanity is at least 80 years old & is rusted & flaking in some spots as well as inside, so it too needs replaced! Oh my! my list could go on & on! Finances have been holding us back on replacing anything so this would be a HUGE blessing!

FIX ME! We have a nice half bath on the first floor of our house, but the light fixture in there looks like it cost 9.99 at the most. Cheap, painted metal beck with ugly exposed bulbs, yech.
I would love to update the fixtures in my upstairs bath! The whole room is ok but really could use an update. I wouldnt buy these items myself because our current fixtures are working ok and not horrifically ugly. Just regular ugly.

FIX ME!! My husband and I bought our first home (a fixer upper!) about a year and a half ago. We’ve slowly been making our way through remodeling, repainting, and repairing. We made our master bath decent (seeing as a whole tear down wasn’t financially feasible at that time), but our dream is to tear out the bright pink and peach tiles, the old vanity that has drawers that don’t slide and start from scratch!

My whole bathroom is awful! The door doesn’t open all the way. It has the giant in wall medicine cabinet and shelf from 1952, a cheap toilet and vanity sink combination, broken tile flooring, and a gross vinyl tub surround. The worst part though, is that there all of the walls are covered in pleastic paneling that is supposed to look like tile with purple flowers.

My current bathroom features “Hollywood” lighting which makes me feel special, but isn’t really my style. The floor is old-yellowed vinyl and there is an awkwardly large space between the toilet and the counter (both on the same wall) as if they forgot to install a bidet or something of the sort!
