Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    Fix me!

Fix me desperately please! Our master bathroom is a mix of redone, outdated, and downright BROKEN. We’ve upgraded some features (light fixture, paint, flooring) but am still stuck in 1993 builder grade faux shiny brass EVERYWHERE. This little nudge will put us back on the top of “I hate my bathroom!”

    FIX ME!

We recently redid most of our guest bathroom, but the only part that still needs updating is the shower. The tiles are cracked and the grout needs to be redone. Also a new shower head would be awesome!

Everything…built in 1986 and not a single update…the fixtures’ cheap plating is chipped, the wood is heat/steam worn, there is chair molding that isn’t at the same height all around the mini master bath that shouldn’t have had molding in the first place and the mini-shower is stained orange from the iron in the water. It is such a big job that I’m not totally sure where to begin!

    FIX ME

We redid our downstairs half bath before moving in… but only made functional fixes to the upstairs full bath. The 1960’s tub, toilet and tile work remain, and the vanity was upgraded in the mid 90’s, but the sink basin is still original. The worst offender? The wood toilet seat. Yummy. I want to take the room down to it’s studs, but first our plans call for building an entirely new bathroom/ master suite out of two bedrooms, and that project is still in the what-if stage.

Realistically, the most help I need in the bathroom is with organization. Myself and my boyfriend just graduated from college and moved in together. Whether he likes to admit it or not, he has an array of loose things from razors to contacts and I tend to over indulge in products of all sorts. We really need organization help in our new DC apartment. Any Tips !!?

    Hi,
FIX ME! This is my first visit to your blog although I have been hearing about it for a while. The fixtures in my bath are not old but they are not my taste. They are gold and shaped like swans. When my kids use our bath tub they like to joke that the swans are throwing up in the bath. Any way my favorite fixture is the classic Boardwalk.

We just moved in and our master bath is completely un-usable – not in a ‘ooh, it’s kinda gross’ kind of a way, but in a the water pipes have completely rusted over and nothing works kind of a way… this would be a great starting point!

FIX ME! Our second bathroom is currently not used because it’s so very ugly. We have green & teal paisley wallpaper on the top half of the walls, ugly fake wood paneling on the wainscotting, an unusable poured concrete shower with a light fixture inside (totally not to code) and teeny tiny windows. It’s awful and needs a total gut!!!

We bought our house about 2 years ago knowing that both bathrooms were re-done with less than stellar work. We’ve been thinking about what to do and saving to re-do them and this would be a HUGE help! Ugly tiles, misfitting showers, drippy faucets – you name it, this old rancher has it!

    FIX ME, PLEASE!

My bathroom tub/shower needed to be renovated after I pulled the soap tray off the 30-year-old tiled wall. Oops. To fix it, we’d installed one of those all-in-one three-walled showers, but the top 2 feet are just uncovered, unsealed plywood! Wop, wop! My dad wants to make his own tile, but that is just one more dream on his long, long, Santa’s good girls and boys-length list of DIY dreams. SO I’m trying to convince him to just purchase subway tile…. we’ll see how it goes. Oh, and the fixtures are pretty much bare bones, too! At least the surfboard wall paper and accessories look great! But this would be AWESOME!!!
