Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!
The whole bathroom in our new house is in need of renovation – I could barely stand to walk in it when we bought the house because it looked like the tile was falling off the walls and there was little left on the floor. Luckily, we haven’t moved in yet. These fixtures are beautiful – they would be perfect!

Fix me! Actually, while I would love new fixtures, over the Labor Day holiday I’m taking down the wallpaper in my master bath and painting – possible repainting the trim as well – and maybe a light fixture. A new set of Moen fixtures would be perfect…but I’m just happy John and Sherry gave me courage to start this all on my own.

    FIX ME!

Our bathroom shower wall literally just fell to the floor last week! Apparently a small piece of grout came out which led to the entire wall behind getting wet (and the builder 22 years ago didn’t use backer board!) so one day, I heard a crash and the rest is history. So, our “re-do the bathroom sometime in 2013” project became “project, hurry up and fix the shower so Mom can regain her sanity!”

What in my bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Ummm, how about EVERYTHING!?! ;-) My bathroom (the one and only in the whole dang house) is a hot mess. If I wrote it all out, the length would rival any of your longish posts. LOL New fixtures would go a long way toward perking things up, though.

Great giveaway – thanks for offering a chance to win it!

“FIX ME” My basement bathroom is…. well…. there are no words for how weird it is. It’s got the sink, toilet, and tiny Ikea sized shower stall all cramped on one wall and there is room for a bedroom in there in an empty unused area. It’s totally weird! People are baffled when they see it. Most people tell us to use it as a sitting area, but who wants to sit in the bathroom chatting with the one using it?? We need help! :D

Fix me, fix me, fix me!!! PLEASE

We are just about to start fixing our Master Bath as the tile is cracked and has leaked into the wall cavity and down into the basement. The drywall behind it is soggy, and moves when you press on the wall. The tiles hang trembling by shreds of adhesive … We have no choice but to strip out EVERYTHING down to the studs, and replace it all. Our Master Bath shot up to the top of the priority list from ‘later’ to ‘NOW!!!!’ We thought we may as well do the whole thing while we were replacing the shower. This giveaway is so timely, as I was literally going to start searching for faucet bargains online this morning. The Moen 90 degree range would be p-e-r-f-e-c-t for us!

FIX ME! Our bathrooms are in major need of new hardware specifically the TP holder in the powder room that has been pulled out of the wall for a good six months thanks to the builders lack of anchors and the master bath towel rack that fell and cracked the tub.

FIX ME! Our whole master bathroom is in need of updating – cracked tiles, discolored linoleum, outdated colors, etc. But the biggest need is our shower door that we have to fight with every morning to close so we don’t give the whole bathroom a shower.

My bathroom is still sporting all of the original tile and fixtures, excluding the sink, from 1928. Most are in pretty good condition but the porcelain hex tile floors have seen better days. I wish I could find a modern source to replace them but I can only find the kind with rounded edges rather than the comletely flat tops of the originals.

We JUST bought a house built in the late 1930s that is in desperate need of some TLC. The faucets in the shower and for the sink are gold, the walls are lined with a flowery pink wall paper and the ceramic tile is a pepto shade of pink. This give-away would help solve those issues.

Our bathroom has not been updated since the house was built in the 60’s. You can imagine the shape it’s in….cracked, tile in the shower, missing tiles on the floor, terrible vanity & sink. No matter how hard I scrub it never feels totally clean. We are saving for a kitchen & bath remodel & this would help sooo much. Thanks for the chance to win!
