Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

I am actually in the middle of a remodel! My 35 yr old ranch house has a bathroom in olive green and the fixtures that are still the originals were once some kind of gold but that’s worn off in many places. The tub/shower is plastic, olive green, and I have had just the pipe sticking out of the wall for the water spigot – the original won’t stay on!

FIX ME! We just moved into a new house this weekend, and the bathroom is the only room that isn’t move-in ready. The cracked green tiles on the vanity, the dated blue/gray/cream alternating tiles in the bathtub, and non-matching vinyl floor need to go! Oh, and the cracked toilet back cover. Ugh!

    FIX ME!

We’ve been in our house for a year now and both bathrooms (especially the hall) suffer from poorly done cheapie contractor “remodels” that desperately need to be de-remodeled. Honestly, I WISH I had the original 1972 bathrooms because at least the fixtures would be of good quality compared to what is in there now!

FIX ME! we just moved into a house built in 1970 and the bathrooms are original!! both of them need a complete redo, but the upstairs is way worse. It has yellow-green bathtub/toilet/sink combo with gold flecked tile accents. These fixtures look amazing!

    FIX ME! Please! :)

Our bathroom has a super shallow tub and I can’t take any baths in it because half my body is sticking out and I get cold. And the tiles are starting to fall off because whoever did put them on didn’t do a very good job. We are planning to redo our bathroom this fall so winning the fixture would be a huge step in the right direction…

FIX ME. Our one-piece fiberglass tub/shower cracked right in the middle of the floor. It has been unusable for about 9 months but my husband is unmotivated to breakout the old sledgehammer and get it out of there. So we continue to share a shower with the kids… New fixtures might be the much needed motivation to start working on this project!

The toilet, tub, tile surround, and sheet rock in our bathroom could use an update. Sounds like a lot, but it is just a 5×8 standard bathroom. Vanity, sink, faucet, floor tile, mirror, and storage were updated by the previous owners, but they left the other fixtures (from 1980!).

Like you we’re DIY-ing things one room at a time. So we still have a 3/4 bath that hasn’t been touched yet; cracked shower tiles, peeling ceiling paint, gross toilet, cabinet holding the sink damaged from moisture. We also have a 1/2 bath in the basement that has its original harvest gold toilet and sink. If we hold off on re-doing that one the color may come back in style!

Fix Me! We brought our house a year ago and to say the least it’s incredibly outdated. Over the last year we’ve been painting and staining and replacing light fixtures and appliances but now we’re finally at a point where we can’t avoid the big projects any longer. The bathroom is first on our list!!!!!! The linoleum is brown and cream and looks like someone vomitted, the counter tops cream , the sinkas are knicked and chipped, the tub.. well let’s just say it completely needs to be replaced along with the surround because it probablly wouldn’t meet a healthcode. HAHA! the whole thing is nothing but disaster. My husband and I have moved it to the priority list because we are thinking about starting a family and can’t have a bathroom like this anylonger. This would be absolutely a blessing to get started!
