Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    ” FIX ME!”

My fiance and I just closed on a house last week and the number one thing on my list right now is a new shower head. After showering there once, I now make the 25 minute trip back to our old apartment to shower in the morning. Worst shower of my life! It’s a hose system without a place to attach the head, so you have to hold it while you shower. And, the water just trickles out. It makes me want to stomp my feet like a toddler just thinking about it. Arghh

    Fix me!!

I’m in the process of removing my old bathroom faucets for an upgrade. It’s not as easy as it looks on youtube! I’ve already spent two weekends uncomfortably laying under my bathroom sink trying to coerce the old pipes to come off. Especially when the faucets are rusted underneath, gross. I could use some shiny Moen faucets to replace my 1983 contractor basics. Please!!!

We just bought a new condo and the bathroom needs help! From walls to ceiling to floor, there are so many things to do! We would love to update the wood floors, swap out the old sinks and claw foot tub for something more modern, and get our wash on with some high quality hardware. Please let it be me!

Oh please, FIX ME! I will, I vow, I swear, I promise to start scraping the grossly grody caulk away from our poor shower in the master bathroom, and replace it. It will look soooo much better when I’m done :) So, first I must start, any minute now. And wouldn’t these fixtures just be the sparkling frosting on the bathroom cake. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!!

Okay, I’ve come to accept the shoebox size of the only full bath in our house, but I don’t have to accept the scratched ceramic sink, the discolored laminate countertop, or the horrible lighting. This giveaway would carry me a good part of the way to a bath I could not just learn to live with but learn to love.

    FIX ME…PLEASE!
We bought a new-to-us home in June and among other things, our master bath needs a fixture overhaul! It has gold faucets with clear plastic handles. It wouldn’t be so bad, but it has been “waterlogged” and the finish is pealing off! Oh, and it leaks, so it is ruining the sink basin, so the whole counter will eventually need to be replaced. Thanks!

FIX ME, indeed. My bathroom is waiting for a makeover. It’s got the same tiles on the walls and floor from the fifties, which aren’t so bad given that they are brown and black (black and white floor) and not pink or green, but they are cracked in some spots (where I’m pretty sure some skanky germs are living) and the soap dish over the sink is broken into pieces. It’s set into the wall so very hard to replace. I’ve got some black nail polish I’m going to hide some of the gaps with once I try to glue it back together AGAIN. The worst parts of all are the huge-bulb mirror-backed make-up mirror lights on either side of a flat and boring standard medicine cabinet mirror. It looks like the dressing room of a strip-club.

Because I am broke, I depend on my imagination a lot! My idea for making over this bathroom is to leave the tiles in place–too much money to replace–and add a dark vanity from Mr. Seconds, new faucets. a curved shower rod and lighting fixtures that would give it an art deco sort of look. If I could, I’d tear out all the tile instead and add some clean stone for a spa-resort feel, but I can’t.
