Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

The worst part of our (only) bathroom is the splotches of duct tape in the shower that is holding the 1950’s tile in place so it doesn’t all come crashing down.

I would love to switch out the shower door in our master bath. It’s so hard to keep it clean. I think a frameless door would look better too.

We just moved for my husbands job and bought a great house that is going to be a fixer upper for us. Right now one bathroom is sponge painted with wicker accessories and another is farmtastic with doubled up duck borders and tractor parts for the towels rod and toliet paper holder. We would love to update these bathrooms and bring some of our style to this new home!

FIX ME! Actually, my dad and I just repainted my upstairs bath (BM Rockport Grey!!!) and replaced the 80s-tastic light fixture with a more-appropriate-to-vintage-style frosted tulip glass and brushed silver one. Then I cut a Target shower curtain in half and sewed up some inset curtains to replace the mini blinds in the windows. Just three little fixes, but what a difference! I’d love to get my hands on all new fixtures to match!!!

FIX ME!!! because it is my birthday:0) AND I really need to update my bathroom. I have the original 1976 fixtures and flooring and no money. On a teachers salary and four kiddos it just makes so much harder to afford the little things that makes your house complete.

    FIX ME!

Every single tile in my bathroom is in desperate need of attention. My 100-year-old house has the typical “tile up to waist height” look throughout the whole room, but the last owners painted over it with regular paint. It’s a hot mess. The shower and floor are upgraded, but unfortunately they are DIY projects gone very wrong.

After buying our “great bones” colonial 100 year old (my) dreamhouse, we did as much as needed to be done immediately. We have the bright purple 1/2 bath (that we ripped a quarter circle shower kit out of, since it’s 4×5!) and the turquoise-everything-including-molding bathroom. Nightmares. Although it has beige tile, and after seeing what you did changing the accent tiles, I know it can be saved!

FIX ME! I don’t even know where to start! We just bought a 130-year-old house a couple of months ago. One of the bathrooms had a questionable looking floor around the toilet… and after tearing up some tile and getting a better view of the issue, we ended up having to gut the whole bathroom! Needless to say, we’re desperate for some new bathroom fixtures… and lighting… and flooring… etc, etc, etc!

FIX ME! My master bath is so lovely, if you just look at 1/2 of it. We painted the vanity, installed new tile, framed the mirrors and replaced the light fixtures. That side of the bathroom is lovely. The side with the hideous ivory faux marble in the shower and tub and builder’s grade fixtures, on the other hand, give away its 90s date. If we won this giveaway, we would get a new countertop and live it up with fabulous hardware!

Sometimes DIY projects look awesome! (See evidence in this amazing blog)
Sometimes you inherit DIY’d projects from 1968 that just make you stare and blink as your hand involuntarily itches and twitches for that sledgehammer.
I just bought my first house 4 days ago, and I’m ready to tackle the kitchen and the bathroom. Oh the bathroom. With the crooked, not-quite level stone tiles that someone wiped their grouty hand across. The window to my neighbor’s yard rather than a proper fan. The silicone sealant applied with the Jolly Green Giant’s thumb. The charming wall-sized, mirrored, sterile, white metal medicine cabinet with blinding Broadway vanity lights. The adorable little sink cabinet that doesn’t fit flush to the wall and had the “git in there” method applied to it. And the bland, boring $10 fixtures.
FIX ME PLEASE and give a little sparkle to my new home!
