Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Our master bath (which really doesn’t deserve the title!) has so many issues that I can’t even really identify one :) Free fixtures would be a great incentive to get my handyman husband started (one can hope :)

Our master bath needs a facelift. Everything is beige, with the “crystal”/ plastic faucet handles and towel bars… EWWW. We have chosen a paint color but need fixtures. This would be perfect!

    FIX ME!

We just repainted the rag-rolled ugly hallway bathroom for our boys last year but the rest of the room is in serious need of a facelift. Paint can only do so much. The tub/shower, vanity and fixtures are all original from 1977. Just because that’s the year I was born, doesn’t mean I want my home looking that old! :)

Fix Me!! Both of our bathrooms are from the seventies…super small shower that barely fits one skinny person, with intense colored tiles (lime green in one ad pepto bismol pink in the other!) We mainly need the cosmetic upgrades though- thankfully our bathrooms work just fine!

Fix Me! Both our upstairs bathrooms are unchanged from their 1968 installation. One is floor to ceiling blue tile and the other is green. Although they did replace the toilet in the bathroom with…I kid you not…a LAVENDER colored toilet. I know just where that $250 gift card would go!

I’m in desperate need of an en-suite bathroom. When going from the master to the bathroom, you have to walk clear across the living rooom. I’m currently saving for a bathroom reno that will add an additional bathroom by merging to closets and making it into a small bathroom + small walk-in.

Fix Me!! Our only functioning bath (of 4) is a disaster – the previous owners actually painted the toilet and tub pink! Seriously, it’s an awful pepto pink. Add that to the uneven subfloor, water damage, cracked tiles, awkward layout, and mildew….. :-(

My bathroom just needs to be gutted. The floor is carpet! The sinks are low and old and dingy. The counters are hideous. It’s servicable, but such an eyesore. And we don’t even have doors between our bedroom and our bath! I’m going to have to put up curtains eventually, as I can’t even turn on the light to get ready in the morning without disturbing my husband!

    FIX ME!

We bought a home that is 100 years old and the bathroom needs so much work. The previous owner put in a tub surround but covered the window so from the outside of the house you see the surround, LOL! The tile is on top of more tile on top of old unfinished hardwood flooring. The vanity, let just say it’s really bad and not connected to the wall (the top isn’t connected to the vanity or the wall. Then we have this cubby at the end of the shower but it’s open inside so you can see all the pipes and the cats can get in an crawl between the floor boards. All the fixtures leak and the water pressure really leaves a lot to be desired. Please FIX ME!

I’m all flushed to say that, when it comes to fashion, the 80s are back in style. Unfortunately architecture doesn’t quite make the cyclical come-backs clothing does, so our ice-block walled, white and forest green triangle, 1982 futuristic-meets-country-cabinetry master bathroom is in desperate need of a modern renovation. Plus, to make matters worse, it was built for a Lilliputian (which at 5’1” is perfect for me but my 6’5” hubby hits his head entering the shower almost daily). Please help turn our archaic 80s outhouse into a 21st century lavish lavatory… with room to spare. Hope we’re privy to a new privy! The one we have now is very draining.

Our shower leaked through to the kitchen ceiling below, and when we went to fix the leaky drain, we discovered that the builder installed a flange for a mobile home shower that is no longer being manufactured. thanks to our handy and resourceful plumber friend, the leak has been fixed. They also covered all of the tiles in the same thing! (YUCK)! There is also a window in our shower…a wood window. It is causing some issues- not to mention it faces the front of our home. Yeah, we really need to get started on the bathroom. :(
