Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    Fix me!!

I need a complete sprucing of my one full bathroom. It is technically functional, but to me it screams, “I belong in the garage, so you can wash off after doing yard work!”

The one bathroom in our our house built in 1951 is still largely intact. I don’t think I need to say much more. A makeover of any description would be welcomed.

Our vanity needs a major update. It’s basic builder-grade “maple” colored wood and needs to go in favor of something dark and dramatic!

While not as drastic as your guest bathroom, I have a nearly full size mirror so you can stare at your self while taking care of business. I have had more than one guest comment about it! Would love the fixtures to inspire me to tackle the whole room.

I have an entire bathroom gutted right now! We tore it out towards the end of my pregnancy with our second daughter. WE apparently didn’t realize how much more work TWO kids was going to be. When we brought her home from the hospital we shut the door and haven’t opened it since (6 months ago!). So my bathroom needs EVERYTHING! :)

FIX ME!! Our 1969 house still has the original shower fixtures, plus a few reaaallllllly bad choices from the people who “fixed it up” before we bought it. I’m pretty sure the vanity is oak with one coat of primer, plus a counter from a vanity that was almost the same size, but not quite :\ The two aren’t even attached, it’s crazy. I could go on, but I’ll leave it at this – It needs a LOT of help!

And, uh, every part of our downstairs bath needs fixing! We started out just trying to remove wall paper and paint the walls, but found mold under the wall paper (due to it being installed directly over drywall), so removed moldy drywall, removed the moldy vanity, took out all of the shower and floor tile, found rotten subfloor…we’re finally at the putting things back together stage, and are looking forward to tiling next weekend. Your posts on your first bathroom overhaul have been a big help in our process!
