Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME! Oh, where to start. I think the worst thing about our needs-a-complete-demo-and-rebuild bathroom would have to be the mustard and white tiles that are trying to work their way off of the shower walls. Ugh.

FIX ME!!! Our entire bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. As new homeowners, we just don’t know where to start. The shower fixtures are gross, even after thoroughly cleaning them and its fiberglass (not the nice kind) so its nearly impossible to keep clean. The almond color always looks like an unflattering shade of brown poo. I want to take a sledgehammer and just start over!

Wow, this giveaway could not have come at a more perfect time! We are planning a complete re-do of our guest bath. That means new sinks/faucets, lighting, countertops, shower surround (tile!), and flooring. Not to mention wallpaper removeal, texturing and painting.

FIX ME!!! We’re currently in my parents basement while we househunt but the faucet in the basement has seen better days. From general wear and tear in just and low-quality installation, it no longer sits properly on the bathroom counter. Sad. And I figure, if we’re going to replace THAT…why not everything in the bathroom?? The showerhead also has absolutely no water pressure- not good when you’re trying to get shampoo or conditioner out of your hair!

    FIX ME!

Our house was built in the 1920s and hasn’t be remodeled since 1973. We recently ripped out dark green carpet and took down a groovy chandelier and replaced it with something more modern, but our bathroom is a mess! Our tub and toilet are an ugly brown, the linoleum is crumbling on the floor, and the vanity is so old that the wood veneer is splintered and peeling. HELP!

We’ve been wanting to add a second bath to our home for some time now. Our only bathroom is upstairs, and many family members can’t visit (unless they don’t mind going to the coffee shop across the street! seriously, it’s happened.) We hope to start construction this winter. The Moen prize package would be a great help!

Even though I know I should be greatful for a warm house and a bathroom to shower in, I can’t help but cringe when I step into our master shower. Mildewy tile and a broken shower spout have me dreaming for new glass and tile shower with of course Moen products to match. That Broadway looks nice….!

We just bought a house and are getting settle. Every fixture in our bathroom is a different finish. Some gold, some silver. The doorknobs don’t even match. We also have one of those light fixtures that is just the huge light bulbs…like a dressing room. It make the bathroom soo hot and almost unbearable. I would also love to frame out the basic builder mirror with a wood frame.

Fix me! My husband can fix, renovate, remodel almost anything — with the exception of plumbing (when installing a toilet, he once hooked up the plumbing system with the heating system — we have boiler heat– and caused a flood.

So our house has been DIYed to great result in every area except one: the bathroom sink. For coming up on 3 years we’ve had only hot water in the bathroom sink (the MAIN bathroom) because the cold water tap is broken and my husband insists he can fix it. Alas, after many tries, he can’t. It is time for a new sink fixture and a plumber to install it! We’ll all be grateful to have cold water to use when brushing our teeth!

FIX ME!!! Oh my stars where do I begin? Our main bathroom is a delightful mix of falling apart faux oak cabinets, beige-pink bath tile, layers of rolled flooring curling up at the edges, cracked drywall or crazy-ridic hollywood lighting? Seriously I’d like to take a bag (like you do to remove large tree stumps) and put it over the room and do a slow burn until it’s gone forever (don’t tell my insurance company). Oy vey I hate it only a little less than my kitchen… fix me, please?
