Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

FIX ME! My wife and I bought our house about 2 years ago, and about 2 months ago we found out we were expecting. Needless to say, things have been crazy, so the master bath reno(which was slated for this summer) has slowed to a crawl. The lack of a ceiling vent (ever) has left us with a mold issue, and I’ve started ripping down drywall, etc. Everything about the bathroom makes my wife nervous, and she’s vowed to not use it until it’s finished. This would be a GREAT surprise for her!

Our bath could use a tub refinishing like your old house’s bathroom, and ASAP. It’s pretty yucky looking and the glass doors have got to go in such a small room. Looking forward to the progress

FIX ME! Where do I begin… our 2nd bathroom located in the basement hasn’t seen an upgrade since it was installed (cir. 1936). The first thing on the to do list is the sink. It still has seperate faucets for hot and cold. Still baffles me on how that ever worked. Maybe just fill the sink and wash from the basin?

Fix Me! Our “master” bathroom is T.I.N.Y tiny! You can almost reach both side walls by extending your arms straight out. Not good if you have a large wingspan! First things first, we gotta knock down a wall. I’m skeered!!

    Fix me PLEASE!!!!!

We have slowly been working on things around the house. The bathrooms though, while clean, need a TON of help. We only have one shower in the whole house so that room sees a LOT of usage. I retiled that bathroom a few years ago and then the work stopped. The walls are half painted, the mirror is hanging on a board in that wall and the light fixture is right out of the 70’s. The other day I realized that the tub/shower fixtures might be leaking. So we really need to replace them. The whole bathroom needs help.

FIX ME! We just bought our first house the shower has a wooden window in it that desperately needs to be replaced by something made of vinyl or glass blocks. And, to top it off, the bath and tile and existing grout were all reenammled sometime in the past and it’s starting to fail. Eeeeek!

    FIX ME!

We just purchased a major fixer upper home. Built in 1969 and has never been updated. The master bathroom sports a lovely blue toilet and matching tub. Another bathroom has a stunning peach toilet and yellow tub! Don’t even get me started on the hideous light fixtures and 60s wallpaper! Everything must be brought up to the 21st century.

    I love your website!!!

PLEASE FIX ME! We just bought our first house which hasn’t seen updates since 1953 (no joke!)… and although our last name is Brown, it doesn’t put much spring into our steps in the morning to look at different shades of that hue (including wood paneling!)– we’re absolutely in LOVE with our new home and can’t wait to update her! Please help us fix her!

FIX ME! This giveaway is perfectly timed, because we are under contract on a new house. The bathroom is in great condition with the notable exception of the fixtures! They are way too fancy — with gold trim and everything. The first thing we’d like to do is a full fixture replacement to tone it down a bit.

I so need this win. We just recently purchased a home to remodle after having to down size due to the economy. We are doing a little as we go when its in the budget. The upstairs bathroom is due for an upgrade from the 80’s blue marble shower and blue vanity sinks. Winning this would be a big help.
    Thanks,

We just moved into our first “grown up” house, and all 2.5 of our bathrooms haven’t been changed since the house was built in 1981. Think marbled, scalloped sink, peach tile, and track lighting. It’s special. I’d LOVE to be able to share some before and after pictures with those AWESOME new Moen fixtures!
