Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    Fix me PLEASE!

We just moved into our fixer upper home last week. The bathrooms need a lot of work. Though the fixtures do need replacing, the things that gets us the most is the fact that our shower door does not seal correctly and leaks onto our floor. Such a bummer.

    Hope we win!

No, no, no…Fix ME! Oh please, fix me!!

Our master bath is a 70’s wonderland needing a complete overhaul so it really is a contest as to what needs attention the most (we’re hoping to renovate this year in fact). Could it be the pitiful lighting that has led to several embarrassing moments in the car of “where did that hair on my chin come from?” or could it be the cracked fiberglass tub that creaks when you step into it? maybe it is the blue and gold striped wallpaper or the shag carpet…that’s right, my bathroom has CARPET! Faucets are just a given. They are so old and we have fixed them and the drainage system so many times that FINALLY after 10 years of making due, my man is ready to bite the big renovation bullet. Oh PLEASE fix me!

FIX ME! Moved into a condo in May and both bathrooms are still in their original 1996 builder-grade ‘dress’. *UGH* both need the Moen touch, especially the showerhead in the master bedrooom bath…so inefficient. The other fixtures are pitted and ugly; they need the Moen touch!

FIX ME… my boyfriend and I are in the process of buying our first house – and it is in desperate need of an update! The bathrooms (along with the rest of the house) look like they’re stuck in the ’70’s, so we will want to renovate and modernize them. This prize would get us on our way!

FIX ME! My shower door (and walls) was installed by contractors who do not use levels. This means that to close the door every morning, I have to slam the thing shut using all of my force. And, at 7am, my poor arm muscles are a little resistant.

We just bought a brand new house, so for the FIRST TIME, I can say not a THING needs to be fixed! Our old townhouse, though – which will be a rental property – is another story. We pulled a wall out of the master bath, among other things, but the tub-shower combo needs updating in the WORST way.

Fix Me. Our bathroom definitely needs new shades for the monster window next to the toilet, because having a huge window next to the toilet makes sense? Whoever did it was not thinking, it takes up almost the entire wall. AND our neighbors are about 15 feet from that side of the house. awesome.

Please FIX ME! We just bought our first house and it hasn’t seen any updates since 1953! Even though our last name is Brown, it certainly doesn’t put a springy step to our morning to look at various shades of that hue (including wood paneling) every day! We’re in love with this house and all we can see is the potential she has to shine… but we’d deeply appreciate a little help!

“FIX ME” … the previous homeowners painted all our bathrooom walls – the downstairs one has a massive tree & bamboo forrest with butterfies and ladybugs, and the upstairs one is sponge-painted with more critters. We need to repaint, redo all the cheap, chipping tile, and these lovely faucets would be great motivation.

    FIX ME!

We just finished completing renovating our Master shower not by choice but because we discovered the grout had a crack….and was causing water to leak. Upon further inspection, we discovered rotted wood and a shower that was improperly done the first time around. So not only did we have to retile but we had to build it all over again. It took a long time since we had no clue what we were doing and so many steps required long drying times. We thought about fixing up the rest of the bathroom with new, nicer fixtures but we are exhausted and tired of spending money on this bathroom! We’d be happy to let someone else spend money for us though! :)

Our master bathroom is split into a tiled room with a stall shower (it’s a Bath Fitter…yikes) and a toilet. The sink/vanity is in the bedroom, which means every single product that I use has been spilled on the carpet. Whoever set up this lay out was not coutning on a girl who requires a lot of mousse in her hair in order to survive. Also, all preening/nose powdering is done in full view of my husband…boo.
