Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!!!!!

Just about everything in our bathroom needs to be fixed! This morning, I was adjusting the spray coming from the shower head and the entire thing fell down. We also need to fix up some cracked tile in the bathroom. This would go a long way in getting some things done!

FIX ME! I have re-calked my bathroom 3 times this month. Turns out it needs a new floor and every time my hubby steps in the tub the floor flexes cracking the calk.

    Fix Me!

What needs fixing? What doesn’t. It’s wall to wall pumpkin orange. The Grout is even orange.
The floor is vinyl…not in a good way. And the shower is leaking just out the door so it’s turning dark under the vinyl.
But new fixtures would go a long way in helping us to start off on the right foot with an update!

FIX ME! We are in the process of updating our only full bathroom in the house. It has been gutted for over a year and we just purchased a new tub to install ourselves. Now we are looking at shower fixtures so we can get this project moving. This would be a HUGE help!!

    FIX ME….

I’d say the floors. Or the shower itself. Floors are gross laminate, shower is gross….period. I think I’d use the $250 towards a new shower!!! :)

The fixtures are gross construction grade fixtures too, so obviously it goes without saying that those would be appreciated!

We just bought a house with a shower drain that must have been leaking for years, judging from the mineral column built up under the bathroom in the crawlspace. Any little bit in fixing this mess would help!

Fix me! Our 1/2 bath is the only room in the house we have done NOTHING to since we’ve moved in three years ago – it needs new flooring, new sink, new paint, new fixtures, new mirror – everything. It’s 1970’s awesome right now, down to the faux parquet vinyl flooring.

    FIX ME!

Our entire downstairs bathroom needs a gut-job…dingy shower door (kind of tinted orange – ?? – with brass edges) and sink, brass faucet, broken toilet, yucky tile…this one and a small half bath are back-to-back in the house and I’d LOVE to knock the wall out in between and create a giant, lovely downstairs bathroom. A girl can dream.

    Fix Me!!!

We have some sort of water leakage situation going on in our master shower – it is probably going to involve ripping out the tile and tearing out the rotting drywall, and replacing with a new moisture barrier, backerboard and tile. Which, I am not totally sad about because it will give me an excuse to update the dated tile in said shower!

The thing in our master bath that is most in need of an update is the vanity.. the cabinets are an out-dated golden oak, the counter is bland white formica and the faucets are of the big, chunky, ugly clear-knob variety (you know that type with the red and blue decal on top, just to make sure you know your hot from cold). Uck.

FIX ME! The floor of our shower is some weird plastic (?) textured material that NEVER looks clean. There are rings of black dirt that are impossible to get rid of, and we’ve tried just about everything. I know it is clean, but it is not very relaxing taking a shower and feeling like you’re getting dirtier by being in there.
