Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!

Both of my bathrooms are in dire need of an overhaul! Original to 1974, they sport cream colored vinyl floors with a gold glitter swirl design and matching glitter countertops, complete with the shell shaped sink! Completely encased in wall tile of the same cream and gold speckle, my bathrooms are functional but an eyesore and I dream of dark wood and pristine white surfaces! Thanks for the giveaway!

    FIX ME!

Please….my bathroom is ancient. A nail helps to hold up the shower curtain on the side, the shower head is coming out of the wall, and the lighting does me no favors (and I’ll take all the help I can get). It needs an overhaul and this would be so helpful!

I am a recent condo owner who has inherited a bathroom that was probably perfect for the former owner, but is not to my taste. We have already changed out the shower head but have not gotten around to cahnging anything else out. All the fixtures are both gold and silver and not to my taste at all. I would love to update everything in this bathroom!

FIX ME!! We moved in to this house last winter and our master bath is desperate for an update. The worst is the cracked grout in the shower causing the backing to swell. Currently it is being sealed with duct tape until we get the funds to make a more permanent fix. Sounds ghetto, but the tape has held up surprisingly well allowing us to save a bit more for a more permanent shower update! Of course we’d also love to replace all of the brass fixtures, the 70’s inspired laminate counters, and awful lighting over the vanities.

Our faux marble sinks are cracked & stained. Our leaky faux marble shower is permanently embedded with things I dare not mention. Faux marble everywhere – that’s how long it’s been since our bathroom has been updated(1980)!!! I won’t discuss the brass fixtures ’cause, hey, they’re back in style…

FIX ME!!! Where to start…I guess the worst part is the cracking tile, oh, and a 4 year old boy who doesn’t have perfect aim. Put those together, and, well, you can figure out how much I love my bathroom lately. Seriously in need of everything. Including a new sink. Builder put this big cabinet in a tiny little bathroom. Totally in the way. Ugh…I could go on, and on. FIX ME!!

I was just wrestling with the tub faucet in my kids’ bathroom because the small leak has evolved to a steady stream of water! My husband has already changed the thing-a-ma-jig inside but I guess that didn’t work. Looks like a new spigot and faucet for us. The problem is the tile in the tub surround needs replacing…previous owners painted the grout to hide mildew stains. It needs some major help. One step at
    time. Deep breaths….

My husband and I recently moved into our “new” fixer-upper built in 1959. The master bathroom is in desperate need of rennovations! It has the original (and now dingy, aged, and old) PINK bathtub, toilet, and sink. The tub/shower fixtures are rusty and aged. The original linoleum floor also is ready to retire (yes, it is the 1950/1960s linoleum with gold inlay!). This bathroom is anything but a relaxing oasis to escape for “me” time.

FIX ME! Our master bath is just one disaster after another. It has a BLACK sink set in this faux-marble formica countertop (you can only imagine how dirty a black sink looks all of the time after teeth brushing, etc…), wallpaper on the walls that has been painted over and is beginning to peel, and the 12 x 12 tile on the floor is coming up. 4 or 5 tiles are completely loose and all of the grout around them has cracked and come out in bits and pieces. We are desparately saving our money for a total redo in this room.
    Thanks!
