Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

    FIX ME!

My master bath has a backwards door frame, the dry wall is starting to fall apart around my shower AND my toilet moves on it’s base! Not to mention, there’s a random extra wall separating our sink and the toilet, in a tiny 10′ bathroom!

I would be so grateful to remodel our bathroom!

FIX ME PLEAAEESSSEEEE. I live in a basement of a house, and the *bathroom* is a tiny, tiny room where i have to sit sideways on the toilet because sitting forward would cause my knees to ram into the all. And i am short. The shower is practicallly unfit for normal people. it is this tiny space with a shower head, encased in 3 walls and one door. I am 4.11, petite, and i feel claustraphobic every morning, not to mention i’m constantly bruised from ramming my elbow or knees into something. If I won this spectacular gift, i could improve SO MUCH, and maybe increase her reseller rate.

FIX ME! hmmm, this is quite a toss up-maybe the vanity that has no board on the bottom, the exposed pipe that the previous owners just painted over, or the glass door that WILL NOT get clean, no matter what I do! The problem is, there are so many other things to fix in our house that are a bigger priority, that I can’t justify spending the money on these little things-so this giveaway would be just the kick in the pants I need!

FIX ME! We are in the process of restoring a 1935 home. Our bathrooms are on DESPERATE need of new fixtures! Did I mention that we need new fixtures? We will also be resurfacing the God- awful, baby poop yellow tile with a crisp clean white. New Moen fixtures would seal the deal.

The shower stall in our master bath is the worst. Rust keeps leaking out from under the metal door frame so it never feels clean in there. NOT ideal for the shower. That bathroom is definitely next on the reno list.

My master bathroom is a glorified closet because it’s so hideous and the facilities are all so 80’s and rickety, we couldn’t use them if we wanted to. This would be a godsend.

“Oh, please FIX ME NOW!!” my bathroom cries. It’s ashamed of its diminutive size. The potty has no privacy, and the shower doesn’t do his job. The sink is jammed in a corner, with no space between the faucet and wall – but it has just enough room for green mold and gunk to gather. We need to remove a near-by linen closet and shift the vanity and the toilet. Then all will be well in the world. Well, at least the bathroom.

FIX ME because after 12 years I still have the original builder-grade flat beige paint, vinyl tile floors, “biscuit” color counters and toilets, and the cheapest faucets and light fixtures you can get–in both my bathrooms. I’m desperate to do *something* with any of it, and would gladly start with the fixtures.

We purchased our home back in May and I haven’t had time to tackle the bathroom yet. Unfortunately, nothing matches. It has really outdated laminate flooring, a vanity desperately in need of an update, and fixtures that don’t match. The tub also needs to be painted but it’s hard to let it cure for 5 days when it is our only bathroom.

Fix Me! My entire bathroom needs a gut job only I don’t have the guts to get started! The paint is peeling, the grout is disgusting and some shower tiles are cracked. The 1950s floor has grime that doesn’t come off. Yuck! Got the fan in the mail the other day and once that goes in the whole room is going to get demo-ed. It’s the only bathroom in the house and I am dragging my feet to get started. This sure would give me some motivation!
