Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Our bathroom has had a fairly recent overhaul (not by us) but things were done very wrong! Our least favorite part is that the shower doors leak- eeek!

    Oooohh… FIX ME please!
Our bathroom is also an original, from 1989. It features a cream colored toilet and tub surround (with oak toilet seat -classy!). It also boasts the original fixtures in which the brushed bronze finish has worn away, leaving ugly dull dark brown splotches (well, really, the original finish was ugly too). Needless to say – awesome giveaway!!! :)

FIX ME! The guest bath at my Mom’s house is in dire need of upgrades! It hasn’t been touched since it was built in the 80s. The most important improvement would be a walk-in shower so my Grandma can get in/out more easily.

Where to start? I think the thing that bugs me the most is the toilet. It has hard water stains that I have to scrape off of the inside of the bowl because it makes it look like I don’t clean my bathroom…and I do! But, really, everything needs a facelift and we are planning to start the process in the next month or two, so this would be AMAZING. But I know it would be amazing for many, many others as well.

My ugly yellow tiled shower is so tiny, literally 20″ x 30″. Plus the shower curtain liner billows inward, reducing the square inchage even more. I would LOVE to knock out a wall and turn our shower into an actual tub/shower.

Fix me! Between my gross builder grade floor tile and the crooked wall tile, it’s quite the toss us, but I think the whole “tile isn’t even with the windowsill” thing bothers me the most-love that it goes from 1/2 an inch away to well over an inch.

FIX ME. I would live to tear out my plastic tub surround. It’s butt ugly! But the worst is my leaky hot water tap. I have to really wrench on that sucker to get it all the way off, no drip. I’m only partially successful, as evidenced by the super attractive pinky-orange mineral stain that builds up so quickly every two weeks.

We are in desperate need of a master bath remodel. We moved into our house last year and knew the bathroom needed a serious upgrade (hello…can you say 80’s tile?). Plus, the shower tile is cracked and looks to be growing black mold. Uh oh. So we know we’ll pay a bundle to rehaul it. This would be great, and would save us so much money! Thanks for the giveaway!
