Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

Our toilet seat slides no matter HOW MANY TIMES we buy a new seat, adjust the screws, or anything else we try!

We gutted our second bathroom before we moved in, Six Years Ago! Everything has come before it! Now two kids later, it would be great to get moving on it!

FIX ME PLEASE! I recently opened a can of worms in our master shower. It sat unused for about a year before we moved in and quickly developed a bad case of mold. In an attempt to thoroughly clean the thing, I removed the 20 year old fixtures…. and they crumbled. Delta no longer makes tfixtures that will fit so we have to get a plumber out to put in something completely new. Wouldn’t some bright shiny Moen fixtures be beautiful in my de-molded, needs to be re-tiled, begging for an update bathroom?

Fix me,… We have the tiniest bathroom, the shower is like a tiny closet, your knees practically hit the wall when you sit on the toilet. We are hoping to remodel our basement into a master suite with an attached bathroom the is grown up sized, need to keep saving.

FIX ME Please! Where do I start. After 20+ years our poor bathroom needs it all. A new (quiet) fan would help with the moisture, and then we could repaint. The fixtures would be a fantastic upgrade. We already got a new toilet but the mirror has now faded at the edges and the over all vibe in this bathroom is poor.

“Fix me”… We have been in our home for a decade now and have yet to upgrade anything substantial. Believe me when I say the lack of upgrades does not mean we love things as they are but means that we are not ever in a financial position to upgrade even the smallest of details. Each morning my sweet husband showers in a dark, dated bathroom. The fixtures are old, the shower is old, and the toilet is an issue of its own. Please bathroom fairies from Moen…come and grant our wishes!

Fix me!! This would be perfect, we’re just about to update our full bath! It’s the only remaining untouched room in our condo and it needs all kinds of help, from the popcorn plaster all over the walls and ceiling to the cracked floor tiles. The sink faucet is so worn, I’m not sure what finish it was! The whole room needs a facelift out of the 1970s.

Fix me! I have a pink 1950’s bathroom. I try to stay “green” and keep everything true to the original styles, but almost all the equipment is also from the 50’s. When you have only a tiny towel bar and a falling-apart shower rod, it is nice to update now and then. :)

Our bathroom has contractors’ generic fixtures from 1995. The bathroom, and the whole house, needs a complete redo. Our bathroom hasn’t been updated since 1950 or so. (To be fair, the house was built in 1836). The piping runs across the walls, the floor is covered in carpet, there are two sinks on opposite sides of the room (when there shouldn’t be) and a bi-fold door that doesn’t latch. We need HELP!
