Fab Freebie: Get Your Fixture Fix

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random person getting their fixture fix this week is… Anne L (who simply described the problem in her bathroom as: “Pink carpet in bathroom?! Nasty!”) Congrats Anne!

Got a bathroom that could use a new faucet? Or new showerhead? Or new just about every fixture? Well then you’re in luck. The generous folks at Moen are dishing out an ENTIRE suite of bathroom fixtures in your choice of three of their most popular collections: the modern 90 Degree, the sexy Voss or the classic Boardwalk. You’ll get:

  • Two bathroom faucets
  • A rainshower showerhead and matching tub spout
  • One 18-inch towel bar
  • Two towel rings, including their new retractable model
  • A pivoting toilet paper holder
  • Two double robe hooks
  • A curved Shower Rod

And just in case you’re not up for DIY-ing the install of all of these sparkly fixtures, they’re gonna toss in a $250 Visa gift card to help you hire it out (or to spend on another finishing touch to your new bathroom makeover). That’s a grand total of up to $1,600 in prizes. I’d say one of you is about to clean up real nice.

Moen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A new suite of Moen bathroom fixtures (in 90 Degree, Voss or Boardwalk) and a $250 Visa gift card
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FIX ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what in your bathroom is in the most desperate need of an update? Are you faced with old cracked tiles in your shower every morning? Does your mirror and vanity combo leave something to be desired? Or is your old leaky faucet enough to put you in a bad mood?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Aug 22th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Moen.

College student who use bought his first home! Bathrooms are in need of some serious reno and I’m saving the pennies! Definitely checking back on this site for the reno’s of your bathrooms to see what I can do to mine. I need new faucets, a new countertop, and new shower head desperately. In time, I know it will come!

Fix Me!! I am very worried about our shower, the laminate walls are bowing inwards! It will have to be replaced soon, along with most of the bathroom. It’s a big job, so fixtures and fittings would be such a help :)

Our bathrooms were the one thing I loathed about our house when we bought it. Yellow walls, faux green marble countertops, almond toilets and tubs. Ugh! We’ve slowly been saving up to tackle them, and just updating the rusted chrome fixtures is quite a financial doozy! But we’ve got a toddler running around now, so we’d really like the swap out some of the scarier faucets that we feel like we can never really get clean.

FIX ME!! I would love to win this! Perfect timing since we are finishing our basement and if have to spend another cent I may go crazy! The addition of the bathroom down there is on hold (still no drywall) while the other rooms are just about done. We had bad luck with a plumber so we are still trying to figure out where to go and how much we should really pay another contractor to fix the last persons work so these fixtures would save us a ton or make this headache much easier to get over. Man, I hope I win!! Lol

Our master bath has brass fixtures, flowered wallpaper, and green carpet! It most definitely needs a facelift. We have been putting it off since no one sees it but us, but it still causes me serious discomfort every time I go in there.

Fix me! Oh my, I could really use this. We suffer from a mid-nineties hunter green bathroom with almond tub, sink, and toilet. The layout is actually the worst part, though — The toilet is right in front of the door and there’s about four feet of wasted space on either side of it. There is precious little counter space, a gigantic Jacuzzi that no one uses, and no shower head into the tub This prize would be PERFECT!

We are fortunate to be moving into a beautiful home where the only issues are “1st world problems” of outdated fixtures and awkward paint colors… the only real issue in my bathroom is the purple paint and sad vinyl flooring. can’t complain at all, but would definitely love some new fixtures to perk it up a bit! :)

FIX ME! We have just purchased a 1938 bungalow and will be using all our pennies to update electrical and remove lead hazards, which leaves very little to update our single bathroom. Currently, our shower diverter is out of wack so the tub fills while the shower’s going :/

FIX ME! My bath tile is original from when it was built in the 40’s. The tile itself is relatively fine, but the grout is stained and literally will not come clean. The floor tiles are an interesting black and white not-quite-checkerboard, several of them are cracked and the grout will, again, not come clean.

We are running upstairs every time a bathroom break is needed. We are staring at no vanity, no shower or bathtub and bare drywall on the walls. The entire bathroom is under construction. We will get it done…and those treats would be more than welcome in our home.
