A couple of weeks ago we asked our Facebook fans to share pictures of their pets (since we talk incessantly about Burger) and got an awesome response – over 100 photos and links of their four-legged friends (which you can browse right here under Fan Photos). So we figured a giveaway geared towards your pooches (and meowsers) was in order. Enter AllModernPet.com stage right…

One lucky pet parent will win their choice of an awesome easy-on-the-eyes bed so their furry family member can sleep in style (and your pup’s “bedroom” can be as stylish as your own).

DOGGONE IT… our 72 lb Lab mix loves to sleep on his back, all 4 legs sticking straight up into the air. He also loves to sleep right on my stomach/chest. I swear he thinks he is still the 22lb puppy he was when we first got him.

DOGGONE IT! My dog, Stewart, loves sleeping on laps more than any thing and always has to be touching whoever he is laying next to. He also loves sleeping on an ottoman in the sunroom which has his very own paw print blanket covering it. He must knows it’s for him.

We have two small closets in our bedroom. When we first moved into our house, we removed the closet doors to paint – Lucy, our older dog, immediately moved all her toys into the bottom of one of the closets and claimed it as her own. So we left the doors off. When we got a puppy earlier this year, she claimed the bottom of the other closet. We joke that they are going to sleep in their own rooms. :) There are matching dog beds in the closets.

Charlie, our bulldog, loves to fall asleep at my heels wherever I happen to be standing and cooking in the kitchen. When I move to another space in the kitchen he will groggily move over to my new location and pass out again. Gotta love it!

Duper, our boxer puppy love to crash into all of the pillows on the floor when we undo our bed to sleep. The pillows end up strewn all over the place, and he nestles in between the pillows.

DOGGON IT! Our Jack, a 5 year old Shih-Tzu sleeps just about anywhere (floor, couch, bed) because he had his bed privelages taken away- he, well let’s just say, is very friendly with is bed. We had to take it away because he wouldn’t stop. He’s fine without it, loves to curl up anywhere (floor, couch, bed) and he sleeps with us at night.

DOGGONE IT! Our dog has to be outside during the day (he’s a big Lab mutt) and he likes to sleep in the dirt under this extremely prickly bush. If he doesn’t want to come out when you call him, he won’t come out and he knows that there is no way I will go in after him. But it must be cooler under there…it’s been so hot the last few weeks!

What beautiful doggie beds :) We have two pups…Stella never sleeps anywhere but our bed. Shula, on the other hand, loves hidden, enclosed spaces. Her favorite? Burrowed deep in the back of my closet on some old blankets.

Our dog Molly (a 40lb English Springer Spaniel) either sleeps under our bed, which I don’t know how she does it being that she’s a good size dog, or in the spare bedroom on the bed. She’ll turn up missing and she is usually in one of those places. Usually she retreats to her spots because we were making too much noise and gives us a dirty look first!

Well, technically we don’t have a pet yet, but we’re picking her up next Friday, the 11th. She is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and her name is Maggie. We can’t wait to pick her up. My dog mostly likes to sleep on our couch, curled up with his head on a throw pillow. But he also LOVES to sleep in our bay window – he can catch a few zzzs and still sort of keep an eye on the neighborhood (he thinks he’s a vicious guard dog).

DOGGONE IT! Our big 95 lb black lab loves to sleep curled up in a ball on the floor beside our bed. In the middle of the night we always catch him rolled over on his back, legs in the air, letting the a/c blow over his belly. However, without fail or an alarm clock, he gets up at 6:30 on the dot and goes and jumps in the bed with our oldest son to wake him up for school!

I work at home and have to spend a lot of time at the computer during the day. Bentley, our three-year-old Pomeranian definitely has his share of off odd napping spots. But his most favorite… he scratches at my leg asking me to pick him up, crawls up onto my shoulder, and slides down my back, nestles between my back and the desk chair and falls right to sleep. Yes, we think it’s a little odd too, haha :)
